Message: Filled With The Fullness of God

Hello My Friend,

God has blessed me so much in the past couple of years that I am careful to watch every step I take. He has continued to bless me by making sure that I am not working out on the world right now with this virus scare, and has seen fit that I keep getting paid as well. This overwhelms me to no end, and makes me want to be a better person, not that He might keep blessing me, but that others might be blessed as much as I am. I come to realize that everything we have is on loan from God, He gives, He takes, we deserve nothing, yet, He lovingly supplies us with everything we need, and when we are faithful to Him, even more than we ever ask or think. “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:19-21.

According to His power, that is the power of Christ that is in me, I am able to not only perform His duties, I am able to go to Him and ask Him for everything I need, and He will supply it, and more abundantly that I ever imagined. Now, Moses continues to prepare the Israelites for their entrance into the promised land, remember, these are God’s words that he is relating to them. He knows that eventually they are going to want to be like the rest of the nations and have a king over them, He instructs them on choosing the right leader of His people.

When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me; Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother. But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way. Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold. And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites: And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them: That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.” – Deuteronomy 17:14-20.

whom the LORD thy God shall choose:” It is God who chooses our nations leaders. For those who like to criticize Christians for supporting for President Trump and say that we are not Christians if we do, open your eyes and see that it is God who put him in office. Where is my proof? Well, the answer is in how God describes how their leader shall be. “But he shall not multiply horses to himself,” Trump, a billionaire, does not even get paid for the job he does, he donates whatever he gets paid. Think about all the other candidates, they have gotten extremely wealthy being in office for decades. “Neither shall he multiply wives to himself,” Do you see what I have been talking about over the years, that God never has condoned multiple wives? God commands are the same, they are not grievous, they have been the same since He created man, and they will be the same for eternity. Yet, He is merciful and faithful to continue to use us, even though we mess up time and time again. “and he shall read therein all the days of his life:” And this is the exact reason why so many Christians suffer? We need God’s Word in us daily so that we can learn and keep it in our heart. “My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.” – Proverbs 7:1-3.

I was talking with my guy, who God interestingly enough is using me to teach him His Word, and I flat out told him, “This is what the Bible says, and once you learn what the Bible says you do not do it any longer.” There is so much disinformation out there that so many people get saved and have no clue what to do next, they end up suffering a great deal because they are doing things in their own eyes, instead of learning what God says. We can thank false religion for that, which is why we need to get in God’s Word and learn the truth. As Moses continues to instruct them he warns them of false prophets, and also gives them an amazing prophecy.

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.” – Deuteronomy 18:10-13,15-20.

or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.” A necromancer is someone who tells you they can summon the spirit of someone who has passed away. People are so desperate that they are willing to do anything for some kind of hope, and the Devil has them right where he wants them. There is hope, and it is not the Devil’s people. “a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me;” Many commentators like to say that Moses is saying that God is sending someone like him, I see it in another way also, I also see this as God saying that He is sending someone like Him. “I will require it of him.” God sent none other than Himself, in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ, who speaks His Word, and if we do not hearken to it, then we must pay for our own sin debt. This actually came to my mind first thing this morning, so, I am going to repeat it here. “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” – Matthew 6:9-15.

I must have said the LORD’S prayer a thousand times already in my lifetime, but today something occurred to me that I have never realized before. The debts we owe are so many, and yet, our Father not only provides us with our daily bread every day, He forgives our debts daily. So, what exactly is debt? Well, debt is that which is bound to pay from one person to another, whether it is money, goods, or services. For the sinner, which we all are, debt is what is owed by sin, which are trespasses against our Father. All the good that we do after we are saved is actually what we do for Christ. All the sin we commit after we are saved is actually what we put Christ through, and yet, He forgives our debt every single day, if we are sincere and forgive others of theirs. And now Moses reminds them of the cities of refuge, and gives a rather odd scenario.

And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live: Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past. If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three: That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee. But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die. Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.” – Deuteronomy 19:4-6,9-13.

and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree,” So, why is this pointed out? There could be a number of reasons, but think about it, Jesus was hung on a tree, by people who really did not know what they were doing. Jesus Himself ask His Father to forgive them, which actually goes back to what I was saying about forgiving those who trespassed against us (Luke 23:34). Jesus was killed for debts He did not own, He died an innocent death so that He might pay our sin debt for us. And no one can escape death unless we come to Him. “Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence,” This is proof that we must come to Christ or we will be held accountable for our own sin. All sin leads to death, we can lessen the sting, and we can overcome any sin though our faith in Christ and faithfulness to God’s commands. “The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” – I Corinthians 15:56-58.

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for sending Your Son to pay the debt I could never pay for my sin. Thank You also for loving me, for not giving up on me, for showing me Your truths, and for setting me free from my sin. You truly gave me victory through my faith in Your Son, I know I mess up, I sin every day, and yet, You are faithful and just to give me bread, and forgive me of my debts daily when I come to You with all my heart. Lord, I do want to live a life that is pleasing to You, that shines Your Son though me, that gives hope to the lost and dying world that You can save them and take care if their every need. Lead me and guide me, keep my heart tender, always in Your Word, and leaning to Your understanding and not mine. Let me be a blessing to others, as You bless me, and supply my every need. I ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
