Message: That You Be Not Judged

Hello My Friend,

Have you seen the stories going around about the democratic presidential candidate who is accusing those who voted for President Trump as going against God’s Word because of all his sin? He even went as far as trying to justify his claim by using Scripture. Let me tell you, if people are going to attempt to use God in their agenda, they really need to think about what they are saying because it will come back to haunt them. Of all the sin that God sees every day, what upsets Him the most are those who call themselves Christians, even going as far as using Scripture to back up their claim, yet are the worst offenders. In fact, Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:” – Mark 3:28-29. If someone is going to use God they better have truth to back it up, and they would be wise to take a look at their own sin before casting judgment upon someone else. And this is in fact, why we use the King James, it has every word of God in it, and has not been watered down in order to hide someone’s sin. “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” – Matthew 7:1-2.

Blaspheme; To speak of the Supreme Being in terms of impious irreverence; to revile or speak reproachfully of God. Every time someone proclaims something is of God and it is not, they are blaspheming Him. Anytime someone adds to or takes from His Word, they are blaspheming Him. Anytime someone receives Christ without any inclination of repenting of their sin, they are blaspheming God, and He will not take kindly to it. If you receive Christ as Your Saviour, it would be wise to keep yourself separated from those of the world, and its sin, and especially if you are one who serves Him in His Church. God continues to give Moses instructions on how the priests were to conduct themselves. These were the men who would be accepting the offerings of the people that want God’s blessings upon their lives, they needed to keep themselves from the elements of the world, especially when they were serving in the tabernacle.

Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD. Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD. What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water. And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food. That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD. They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.” – Leviticus 22:2-9.

in those things which they hallow unto me:” The items offered to God were sacred as they were what the people brought to them for forgiveness and atonement for their sin. If a priest, or anyone in the family were to eat of these things being defiled it would be the death of them. Why? “lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore,” This is the same thing as if an unsaved person were to receive communion bread, or one that is saved and has eaten of it without confessing sin. “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” – I Corinthians 11:26-29.

But let a man examine himself,” Serving God or not, whenever we go to God with anything we need to be clean, meaning, first, saved by receiving Christ as our Saviour, then we need to confess our sin to Him. Do you think that God is going to listen to our pleas if we have sin in our lives? Yes, we are saved by grace, and we need to be soever grateful for that, but that does not mean we ought to be living in sin, especially those who serve Him. God goes on to explain this, the priest’s, their families, and the entire nation, including the Gentiles, if they wanted their sacrifice to be accepted by God, they needed to be serious about it.

Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering; Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you. And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein. When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD. And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day. And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will. On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD. Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you, That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.” – Leviticus 22:18-21,27-33.

that will offer his oblation for all his vows,” When we receive Christ as our Saviour, we are telling Him that we are making a vow to Him, trusting in only Him as our Saviour. Jesus Christ is the willing, spotless lamb sacrifice that we bring to God in exchange for the punishment of death and hell brought on by sin. “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” – I Corinthians 6:19-20.

therefore glorify God in your body,” In other words, stop using your salvation to justify your sin. I really feel sorry for those who continue to live in sin without repentance, for they will answer to God. Since we are all sinners, it is very important to keep observances to God, they give us the opportunity to get right with Him. God had instituted seven Holy Days, these would be feast days that would be observed yearly so that they could come clean and get clean. “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’S passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.” – Leviticus 23:2-8.

but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest,” This is the first time that I realized that the Sabbath is a feast day, we are to take the entire day to praise, listen, reflect, confess, and plea with God all while enjoying the food that He blesses us with, mind, body, and spirit. “in the seventh day is an holy convocation:” Another thing I just discovered was that not all the Holy Days were an entire day of Sabbath, which is why the Pharisee’s were able to crucify Jesus during the Passover (John 19:31-37). Now, the Day of Atonement is listed again, and may have been the most important to observe of all the feasts. “Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God. For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.” – Leviticus 23:27-32.

For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day,” We must come to the acknowledgment that we are sinners before God will even accept His own Son as our atonement sacrifice (Romans 10:9-10). And we if we are saved, we must continuously confess sin sincerely, or risk judgment from God. Saved born again Christians need to stop taking salvation so lightly, they are the very ones who will see Jesus and He will tell them He never knew them (Luke 13:24-30). Keep in mind that since we are sinners, God has no problem with our working at repentance. In fact, Jesus, when asked by Peter how many times we are to forgive someone who sinned, “I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” – Matthew 18:22. So, God is so merciful to forgive us of our sin in sincere confession, as long as we come to Him being repentant about it, but those who willingly live in unrepentant sin will face judgment, and He they will die prematurely in their sin. “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” – I John 1:8-10.

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for Your mercies and grace to save a sinner like me. I know for a fact that I am not perfect, and sin every day, but You are faithful and just to forgive me each and every time I come to You sincerely and willingly. I am so thankful that You have made my atonement permanent when I confessed I am a sinner and need Your Son, and that He died a sinless death to pay the price I owed for my sin. Lord, Forgive me where I failed You, and for any times that I have taken Your salvation for granted. I want to live a life that glorifies You, lead me and guide me, keep me repentant, and remorseful of sin so that I do not sin against You. Let me not be judgmental of others, rather righteous in my judgment, and if there be any sin in me, reveal it so that I may confess and repent of it, and get right with You. I love You, and ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
