Message: Condemned Already

Hello My Friend,

Sight; The act of seeing; perception of objects by the eye. We see things all day long, but how we perceive them has to do with whether or not they affect us. People can see the same object or person and perceive them in many different ways. Sight; To observe, to discover; to descry; to understand. Sight is not always seeing what we actually see with our eyes, remember, believing comes by seeing, but seeing comes also by believing. We who know Jesus as our Saviour have not physically seen Him, and yet we believe He walked the earth in the flesh and saved us by giving His life on the cross. We do not believe in Him because we see Him, we see Him because we believe in Him. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” – John 3:16-18.

but he that believeth not is condemned already,” Condemned; Simply put, bound for hell. The world has made light of what hell actually is, and as Christians, we need to show people, not demand, but show them that hell is an eternity of torment in the lake of fire if they do not believe in what Jesus did on the cross for them. Of course, we do it in a way that invites them to Him, not scares them away from Him. When a person is touched by Jesus, whether He is right in front of us or way up in heaven, He opens our eyes to the truth about Him. Now, Jesus heals every person past, present, or future, while we have practitioners that care for the health of people, it is actually Jesus the heals them, not medicines, not surgeries, it is Jesus, but for us to see that it is Him we have to see Him beyond what the world sees Him as. Jesus shows us this as He heals a man that was blind from the time he was born.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.” – John 9:1-5,8-11,24-25.

Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him;Jesus changes us, and even physically when we are touched by Him, and let me tell you, while some do believe it is Jesus, the majority do not. When the blind man began walking through town people began to notice that he could now see, this caused a great controversy as the Pharisees refused to believe that it was Jesus that gave him his sight, they even went as far as questioning his parents to make sure he was really blind from birth, and still did not believe. They asked him a third time.

He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples. We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.” – John 9:27-34,39-41.

If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. They rejected this mans testimony, and even threw him out when he called them out on their questioning Jesus. You know, we could say the same thing for us, we are of Jesus, and we can do nothing apart from Him. I had to take an assessment test, I despise those tests because they ask the same stupid questions over and over again as though you will give them a different answer, one of them being if you would correct your boss of their wrongdoing. I respect my bosses, but I will not stand there and let them criticize me and lecture me for something I am accused of without telling them in a respectful way that they are wrong in their perception of me, and I will admit if I had done something wrong and corrected my mistake. And let me tell you, any respectable boss will respect your defending yourself, I even has a boss tell me that it was good that I stood up to him because even he needed to be put in his place sometimes. It is the Holy Spirit in us that teaches us when and how to act, and He is the every bit of good in us that we are. “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” – Romans 8:26.

You see, God performs miracles everyday in hopes that the one healed and those who have witnessed the miracle will see His Son and believe. Sadly, many are blind to that fact, they will certainly stand before Jesus and they will see Him upon their death, but by then it will be too late, they will not only be reminded of the times Jesus was right there in front of them, but that they rejected Him. Jesus explains this further through a parable, referring to people as sheep. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.” – John 10:1-6.

for they know not the voice of strangers. When we belong to Jesus we know who He is, we hear His voice and we come running to Him when He calls, that is not true for those whom do not believe in Him. You know, there are people and religions that will tell you that there are several ways to get to heaven, and I use to believe that also, in fact, I never knew the impact that Jesus would have on my life until I saw Him for who He truly is, my Christ, my Saviour, my Shepherd, and without Him I could do nothing. Now, Jesus explains the parable.

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. And many believed on him there.” – John 10:7,14-29,39-42.

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.” Jesus did not have to give His life to save any of us, and although the Jews captured Him and crucified Him they were not the ones who took His life, He laid His life down Himself. People ask all the time why Pilate did not do something to intervene and why Jesus did not even attempt to climb down from that cross when He had all the power to do so. The answer is simple, He loves us so much that He gave His life to save us. And let me tell you, if none of this were true, Jesus would have died in vain, and then none of the words in God’s Word would be true. “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” – Galatians 2:16-17,20-21.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” – John 9:4-5.

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, No matter how I feel on the outside I know You are with me, not because of any good that I do, but because I believe in and trust in what You have done for me on the cross. No matter what I am going through I know I have victory in the cross. Lord, sometimes it is hard to see You when I have so many people and things trying to rob me of my joy in You, but as long as I abide with You I know I will see You. Lead me and guide me, give me Your power to withstand every obstacle and to trust You with all of my life, let me not let anyone rob me of the joy that You bring to me as I walk with You, and let me see everything through Your eyes. In Your name Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
