Message: God Is Wonderful

Hello My Friend,

I was watching this show on TV and they were talking about baptism, encouraging a woman to baptize her baby so it can go to heaven if something were to happen to him. They even talked about when John baptized Jesus, but the reason behind him baptizing Jesus was not correct nor was the baptism of the baby. I do not care if it is TV, people write those scripts and it influences people them who watch these shows. They are teaching a false doctrine that will aid in sending people to hell, all because they do not want to offend someone if they told the truth. These said, [Matthew 15:8-9  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  9  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.]

Those who truly want to be saved and get to heaven will accept the truth of the Gospel, admitting they are a sinner, understanding that hell is the price to pay for sin, and only by their accepting Christ as their Saviour can they be saved and get to heaven. Water baptism will never save anyone, and as for babies, they are too little to know what sin is and therefore, not subject to hell as they are not of the age of accountability, [Romans 6:4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.]

Did you happen to see the full moon the other day? It was known as a blood moon as it had a red tint to it and an aurora around it. A “blood moon” happens when the moon is in a total lunar eclipse, as the full moon passes through the Earth’s shadow. Anyone who looks at something so spectacular and does not believe in God really is a fool, they are too blind to see how merciful and gracious He is to them. Yet to the believer, He is wonderful.

[Psalms 111:4-5,8-9  He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.  5  He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.  8  They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.  9  He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.]

[The works of his hands are verity and judgment;] [Verity; Truth. Judgment; Wisdom and prudence, discerning right and wrong, good and evil.] Everything that God does and allows in this world is done in truth with us in mind, discerning right from wrong, good from evil. It is the devil who corrupts His truths and blinds the world from discerning right from wrong, and to them God is mean and cruel, but His is wonderful to those who truly have pleasure in seeking out Christ. God always takes care of us, His hand is forever stretched out, whether it is for His provisions or protection, He never forgets the covenant He makes with us the second we receive His Son as our Saviour. We may not see the things expect, but He always gives us what we need.

[Psalms 112:4-10  Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.  5  A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.  6  Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.  7  He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.  8  His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.  9  He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.  10  The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.]

[until he see his desire upon his enemies.] You would think that you would rejoice when you see those who wrong you get what they deserve, but you do not, in fact, you actually feel worse. You see, it is not getting even with them that will change anything as we certainly cannot change what happened. What changes things is Christ, [Psalms 113:3-9  From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised.  4  The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.  5  Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,  6  Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!  7  He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;  8  That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.  9  He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.]

[and to be a joyful mother of children.] I do not have kids, in fact, I never even saw myself having one of my own, but I love kids, and they love me, they always seem to have a magnetic attraction to me. It really is amazing how God does use the barren woman to be a mother of children, the second I get around a child the motherly and protective instincts in me kick in, and I will do anything to keep them safe. God is the same way with us, while He did choose Israel to represent Him, and make it known that he truly is the only Mighty and Living God that blesses them for fearing Him, He did not stop with them. God leaves no one out.

[Psalms 115:4-13  Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.  5  They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:  6  They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:  7  They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.  8  They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.  9  O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.  10  O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.  11  Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.  12  The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.  13  He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.]

[They that make them are like unto them;] People who reject God because they do not agree with His ethics simply do so because they refuse to admit they sinners and their sin will send them to hell. It is much easier for them to pretend that God does not exist than to admit they need Him. Let me tell you, it is not all joyful with Christ, we have the same setbacks and issues as the world, our hearts get so heavy that our souls cry out in pain, but at least with Christ we have Him to carry us through. Praise God! Whenever we get so weary that we feel all alone, it is time to remind ourselves of just how far and how much Christ has delivered, most of all our souls from death.

[Psalms 116:2-9,12-13  Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.  3  The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.  4  Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.  5  Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.  6  The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.  7  Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.  8  For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.  9  I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. 12  What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?  13  I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.]

[What shall I render unto the LORD] [Render; To return; to pay back.] Saved or not, we are pretty blessed by the LORD, He sends the rain upon the saved and unsaved, He gives food to the saved and unsaved, He heals the land of the saved and unsaved. We have nothing in this world without God, He loves us all so much that He sent His only Son that He might give all a chance to be saved, that alone is cause to call upon Him, [Psalms 118:5-6,19-23  I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.  6  The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? 19  Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:  20  This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.  21  I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.  22  The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.  23  This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.]

[The stone which the builders refused] Jesus is the corner stone, the one who unites elect angels and elect men together, Jews and Gentiles, Old and New Testament saints, He is the chief corner stone for His strength and beauty, the head of the corner; or of persons most eminent, who are sometimes called the corner, [Isaiah 28:16  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.]

People have rejected Jesus since the day He came here in the flesh, and until the day He returns more and more will reject Him, but, and when He does return, all, and I mean, all will know who He is, [Matthew 21:42-43  Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?  43  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.]

Do you understand the benefit of knowing the one and only living God? And we do not just have the benefit of knowing Him, we have the benefit of talking to Him one on one, and He is mindful of every single thing that we say, think, and do. This is exactly why salvation is by grace, and not our works, we mess up, and a lot, and yet, He still blesses us. And let me tell you, God gives, and He can take, and yet even if He takes things away, we can praise Him and give Him the glory for His benefit of taking away things that would have made life messier, [Psalms 117:1-2  O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.  2  For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.]

[For his merciful kindness is great toward us:] Life is often messy, and we do not always understand God’s plan, we can praise Him for leading us away from things that would have made life messier. And we can praise Him for raising us up and lifting us out of the dunghill we were in. At least, that is where I realized I was before I turned to Christ, [Philippians 4:6-7  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Psalms 111:9  He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.]

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for making salvation simple and affordable, what shall I render for all the benefits that You give me without fail? I will take the cup of Your salvation and call upon Christ as my Saviour. It has been years since I have called on You to save my soul, and Your benefits have been endless. I have failed You more times than I can count, yet Your benefits are still endless. Thank You, LORD, for loving me, and not giving up on me, for Your continual benefits, even the chastening, for they are exactly what brings repentance and faithfulness to You. Lord, Your mercy endures forever, lead me and guide me in Your will and way, give me Your power, mercy, grace, forgiveness, protection, peace, wisdom, and the understanding to live delightfully by Your commands. Let me not take for granted all Your benefits, and remember to praise and give Your the glory for each and every one of them. I love You, LORD, and ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
