Message: Have No Doubts

Hello My Friend,

There was a woman who had several kids, some of them I taught in Sunday School, she came to the church for a little while, was led to Christ, received Him, or so appeared to have. Things were a little hard pressed for her, the church helped her significantly, even coming up with funds to help her pay rent. Then something happened, she asked for something that the church could not give her, all of a sudden she no longer wanted to attend our church and found another church, which was actually another religion. She decided they were a better fit for her family. This is exactly what Jesus talks about when He sees multitudes hanging around His Church, very few actually do receive Him, the rest are only around to see what they can get from Him, [John 6:26-27  Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.  27  Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.]

[for him hath God the Father sealed.] Once we believe in and receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour our soul is sealed with His precious blood, and nothing can get through that bond. That does not mean that we are free and clear from Satan messing with our heads in an attempt to get us to doubt our faith. Satan is slick, he knows our weaknesses, fears, and doubts, and he will use religion, even to the point of proclaiming Christ to entice lost souls to follow his direction. And let me tell you, every religion that does not preach the truth of the Gospel is led by Satan. Jesus watches as multitudes were stepping over each other at the chance to reach Him, He tells His disciples that there is something that they extremely need to be aware of.

[Luke 12:1-7  In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.  2  For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.  3  Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.  4  And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.  5  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.  6  Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?  7  But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.]

[which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell;] Satan is the root of all death, he is the cause of why we all face death to begin with. Satan, is not in hell right now, but he will be cast into hell and the lake of fire one day with all his minions and those who never knew Christ. Until that day comes, he is going to try to take as many souls with him as he can, and he will use false religion to do it. The biggest device Satan uses to entice people is money, and I get it, when we need money to feed the family, pay the rent, or keep the water on, it can be easy to fall into the temptation. This is when we need all the faith we can get, to start asking God for the things we have need of, and to be careful of who is offering. Jesus explains this as one of these people who actually got to speak to Jesus asks Him to talk his brother into giving him part of his inheritance.

[Luke 12:13-15,22-23,28-31  And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.  14  And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?  15  And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. 22  And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.  23  The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?  29  And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.  30  For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.  31  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.]

[neither be ye of doubtful mind.] You see, this is the number one reason people get caught up in false religion, bondage to the government, to creditors, owing debts they cannot pay, eventually losing everything they have, they did not trust that God could take care of them. I am guilty of this, in fact, as I just looked at my bank account I do not have enough in it to pay rent that is due on Sunday, I spent the weekend filling out job applications because one job is just not enough to cover all my expenses that are popping up. What I failed to remind myself of, and Jesus so graciously did, was that I do not need to worry about all this, put Him first, do His work first, and the things I have need of will be added unto me. Praise God! More important than earthly provisions are spiritual. There is an appointment for each and every one of us, that is the day that our soul separates from our body. We have no idea when our last breath will be, which is why it is so very important that we believe in and receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour right now. Through another parable, Jesus explains the importance of making sure we are ready and prepared for the day that He returns for His believers.

[Luke 12:42-46  And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?  43  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  44  Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.  45  But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;  46  The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.]

[and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.] Many will stand before Christ seeking to get into heaven because they knew of Him, only to discover that He does not know them. [Luke 13:24-27  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.  25  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:  26  Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.  27  But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.]

[depart from me,] What a sad day it will be for the ones who hear Jesus say these very words. God is merciful to give us several chances to know the truth about Christ and ask Him to save us. There will come a time when the door to heaven will be shut and they will be able to get in. Unless we admit we are a sinner, understand that hell is the price for sin, believe and accept that Christ’s atoning blood is the payment for our sin, then Jesus will no know us. Every soul is precious to God, we are going to suffer here on earth because it is full of evil, but we do not have to suffer an eternity in hell, all who receive Christ believing before their last breath will be saved, [Romans 10:9-10  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.]

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, Thank You for the great sacrifice You made for me, I do not deserve to enjoy eternal life with You, but I get to because of my faith and acceptance of You as my Saviour. With all that goes on in my life I know that I am truly blessed, but that does not stop be from losing sight of that at times when I am pressed with uncertainties. You are all that I need, and as long as I keep reminding myself of that You will provide me with more than what I need. Lord, Give me Your strength and power to endure my struggles as I wait for You to take care of me and provide for me in Your time. Also, I ask that You help me be a blessing to others, and let me not forget how blessed I am just with what I have now. I ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
