Message: According To The Will of God

Hello My Friend,

I tell you what, sometimes life is overwhelmingly sad, and feeling sorrow while reading through these prophecy books and about all the judgments upon Israel and the nations that turned their backs on them can be very depressing. Top that with feelings of failing God, your family, your relationship, and your bosses on every level, and the only four words that make any sense right now are, “Thy Will Be Done.” God has a plan, we may not understand or like the plan, but “Thy Will Be Done.”, God has a purpose, we may not understand or like the purpose, but ‘Thy Will Be Done.”, God has a reason, we may not understand or like the reason, but “Thy Will Be Done!”. God’s hand is in everything, from every soul that is born, to every struggle we face, and even the crazy, idiotic people who kill and destroy life. The only thing we can say to God is, “Thy Will Be Done.”, and hand it all over to Him, [Romans 8:27-28  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.]

It is not God that brings judgments upon the earth, it is man, and the horrible sins we all are guilty of, God just tells us what the punishment is. And I have no idea where I am getting all this because I have not one thought in my head about the Chapters I have just read, except, “Thy Will Be Done.” The world laughs at the Jews and Christians as they see us struggle, but their time will come, God will judge them, just for the way they treated us, and they will not be laughing. Because Israel was being judged, their rivals were gloating and mocking them over what was going on. Little did they know that judgment was coming to them for their rejoicing over this. Through Ezekiel, God gives the judgment of each nation, starting with Ammon.

[Ezekiel 25:6-8,11-12,15-16  For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;  7  Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. 8  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen; 11  And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.  12  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; 15  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;  16  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.]

[and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart,] Despiteful; Full of spite; malicious; malignant; as a despiteful enemy. The world attacks Jews and Christians out of pure spite, they cannot stand that God has blessed them with so much, and glory in their their struggles. However, God will not be mocked, if you mock His people you are mocking Him, and while He does judge His people, they are His, and He deals with them on His terms, not theirs, [II Thessalonians 1:7-8  And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,  8  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:]

Now, we come to the judgment that was given to Tyre, the prophetic judgments against Ammon, Moab, Edom, and Philistine were relatively short compared to what was coming to them, God gave a detailed prophecy concerning the judgment of Tyre. The reason, they insulted Jerusalem, and praised themselves on their increased prosperity arising from their fall.

[Ezekiel 26:2-5,19-21  Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:  3  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.  4  And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.  5  It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations. 19  For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;  20  When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;  21  I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord GOD.]

[and it shall become a spoil to the nations.] Again, God takes care of His people on His terms, it is evil and wicked to make fun of and rejoice over others who are being judged, especially for their own personal gain. There is a huge difference between using good judgment to correct a person and judging them. We are all sinners, those who know Christ are sinners saved by the grace or God, if we mock others for the chastening they get then we will be chastened ourselves just for mocking them. When we are being chastened, whether we did anything to deserve it or not, God has not left or forgot about us, He prepares and grows us in our faith through it all, [Hebrews 10:29-31  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?  30  For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.  31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.]

Tyre has another character, it represents the world and its riches, in contrast with Israel as the people of God. Unlike the other nations being judged it rejoices, not like the others from personal hatred, but because they used the judgment of Israel to make themselves prosper. This time God tells Ezekiel not to tell them of more judgment, but to actually take up a lamentation for them.

[Ezekiel 27:2-3,17,24,34-36  Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;  3  And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. 17  Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm. 27  Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin. 34  In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.  35  All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.  36  The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.]

[and never shalt be any more.] Nebuchadnezzar, did in fact, attack Tyre for, and for thirteen years, he literally destroyed the city, which was on the mainland. Then Tyre was rebuilt on an island nearly half a mile from the mainland, but two centuries later, Alexander the Great attacked the capital city of Tyre. Since Alexander had no ships, his force used stones, timber, and dirt from the ruins of the first city to build a causeway 200 feet wide to reach the island. Tyre never regained independence and was never again a prominent nation. God always gets vengeance for His people, even though we get chastened and challenged, we belong to Him, and just like any parent, He loves and is always there for us, no matter what we have done, past, present, or future, we belong to Him, and He will never leave nor forsake us. When facing sorrow or affliction, all we can do is say, “Thy Will Be Done.”, [I Peter 4:14-17  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.  15  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.  16  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.  17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?]

Today’s Prayer: God, You love us so much, You want to see us prosper and give us everything we want and need, all You ask in return is that we trust You in the decisions You make. We do not have to understand, we just need to say, “Thy Will Be Done”, and trust that You will see us through. Lord, with all the rivals of the world and struggles we face, it can be difficult to say, “Thy Will Be Done”, but we can do all things by Your power. Lead us and guide us, give us Your power to keep Your first, and to first and far most, acknowledge You in all that You bless us with, even the judgments and sorrows, so we no do forget that Your hand is in everything and we can trust that all things will work for good and Your glory. I ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
