Message: Jesus Says To All, “Be Watchful”

Hello My Friend,

I was listening to the radio when a man was talking about all the crazy evil things that have been going on this year, he said, and I quote, “We are definitely in the end times, whatever that means?” The world has no clue who God is and they certainly have no clue who Jesus is, but even they know that something wicked and evil is brewing. This is why it is important that we who know the truth tell it to the world. Right now today, in our country people are making a decisions that could devastate our economy and nation as a whole, we are voting to elect governors and congressmen. And without going into politics here, there is a reason why the Bible tells us that we are a republic, and that is by which all Christians ought to stand. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” – Mark 16:15-16.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;” Do not forget that this is not a water baptism, rather a spiritual baptism, in which we are baptized with the Spirit of God in us the second we believe the Gospel of Christ and receive Him as our Saviour? What is the Gospel? It is simple, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When we believe that Jesus came here in the form of man through a virgin birth, that He died a sinless death to be the permanent redemption for all who believe, that He was buried in a tomb and three days later arose from the death to break the curse of death, then we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, therefore, we are saved. Praise God! Now, the end times are the days in which there will be so much evil in the world that not one soul will be saved. Jesus spoke of this time, a time when every stone on the temple itself will be destroyed. His disciples ask Him what these signs will be.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” – Matthew 24:3-14

I am Christ; and shall deceive many.Look around you, down the streets, on the television, in the papers, and all over the internet, people proclaiming Christ, but look carefully because they are actually wolves proclaiming a false Christ. How can you know? By their fruit. In other words, what they really believe and teach. Many try to predict when Christ will return, even deny that He will. Look around you, watch the news, children killing their parents, parents killing their children, bothers killing brothers, massive earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fires, these are all signs of the times. The only ones who will endure this are those who know Christ as their Saviour. Jesus continues, explaining what will happen during the great tribulation, and as told by Daniel.

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.” – Mark 3:14,19-27.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,” This is what Jesus was referring to in Daniel, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate…Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” – Daniel 9:27, Daniel 12:10-11. Keep in mind that the one speaking to Daniel and showing him these visions is Jesus Himself, notice the bold letters, the sacrifices were taken away. Jesus took away the need for sacrifices with one sacrifice, Himself, He is all that we need to be one of the elect who will not see the desolation take place. Jesus continues explaining the things that will come of Jerusalem and the entire world prior to His return, and simply states that no one will know the time, but when it does happen it will be a complete shock, so we who do know need to be watchful for these signs.

Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” – Mark 13:30-37.

and commanded the porter to watch.” A man asked a group of Atheists why they do not believe in God, these people had brightly colored hair, piercings all over them, dressed like punks, cursed, and looked like drug addicts. The majority of the people said they would believe if they saw proof. There is proof, Jesus Christ Himself. Okay, the way we look does not determine our salvation, many Christians live some pretty wild lives, but we have, but a short time on earth, eighty-ninety years, and some do not get that, we cannot life live as though once we die it is over. I have seen Christians do some crazy things when they thought they were going to die also. We do not know what hour Christ is returning, and for that reason it is important that we as Christians live our lives in a way that shows Christ in us, and looking like the world is not the answer.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 24:44-51.

And shall cut him asunder,” The wicked and immoral things of this world are taking over and people are turning to it and forsaking Jesus. If you think things are bad in the world now, we do not want to know what it is going to be like through the tribulation, and after that. Jesus has no room for those who mess with and distort the Gospel, which sends their believers straight to hell. Ignorance does not save us, if we choose to believe the lie over the truth we will be cut off the vine. We who are saved get grafted into the tree of life, therefore we gladly proclaim the simplicity of the Gospel and do not change it, anyone who does will answer to Jesus. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” – John 15:2-5.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.” – Mark 13:26-27.

Today’s Prayer: God, There is a fine line between going completely insane or finding peace through the evil that is taking place today as we near the signs of the times, and that is Your Son, Jesus Christ. With all the crazy things going on in the world today it is comforting knowing that Christ is my Saviour and I do not have to be here when the great tribulation comes, but it is also very heartbreaking to see the evil taking over and destroying everything, including life. Lord, You are my witness that a life lead by Christ is one of abundance, and while I do have to endure the sting of death that comes from sin, I know that You are my strength, my motivation, and reason for living a life that is pleasing to You, and for that reason I will watchful and be sober for His return. I love You, and pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
