Message: One God One Law

Hello My Friend,

God Made YouThere is a good and valid reason why God made it so that our own works are not based on our salvation, they never have been. If God left it up to us to determine how we get there we would ruin heaven with all our boasting. The good works we do as faithful servants and children of God have always been a result of our relationship with Him, not to win or keep our salvation.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:8-10.

It is a known fact that those who receive Christ as their Saviour are blessed, well beyond their salvation, nations rise every day because of strong Christian leaders. However, they also fall, quicker than you think when the leaders no longer look to God. During the time the Judah fell and was overtaken by Babylon Tyre was very prosperous, they prided themselves on being untouchable and gloated over the fact that they became that way as a result of Judah’s fall. After God gave the judgment of Tyre, He singles out the prince, and has a message for all who have a proud heart.

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.” – Ezekiel 28:2,6-10.

and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God,” You can be sure that if we start boasting about all that we created for ourselves, bringing ourselves to the level of God, that God will take it all away, faster than you can blink your eyes. God has no problem with His people prospering, what He has a problem with is not acknowledging Him as the source.

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” – Luke 11:9-13.

At the time of the Exodus, Egypt had grown to be a magnificent world power and had become famous in commerce, art, literature, science, and military might, all by the power of God. However, centuries later, Egypt never seemed to grasp the fact that God was still in control of their great nation. Through Ezekiel, God foretold the end of Egypt as a great nation.

Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered: And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.” – Ezekiel 29:3,12-15.

My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.” Of all the sins one can commit, the one that gets God’s blood boiling is a person making themselves a god. The devil, Lucifer, himself, was one of God’s angels, who thought himself to be a god, he exalted himself above God, and for that reason was cast out of heaven. Well, the devil and everyone else who is too proud to admit there is only one God, and He rules all.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” – Revelation 20:10,13-15.

Nations and people can turn away from God all they want, but that does not change the fact that He is still in control of everything and sooner or later all will know that He is the Lord. In order for our nations to be blessed we as individuals need to take a stand and realize that we cannot do this alone. Through Ezekiel, God continues His judgment placed on Egypt.

Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man. But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.” – Ezekiel 30:21-25.

and they shall know that I am the LORD,” Still today, Egypt has never regained the status of a world empire. It remains as a witness to the supreme authority of God. Once day, all Christians, who are scattered all over the world, will come together and find habitation in the land that God promised them. Nations and people can turn away from God all they want, but that does not change the fact that He is still in control of everything and sooner or later all will know that He is the Lord. In order for our nations to be blessed we as individuals need to take a stand and realize that we cannot do this alone, we need God and we need all of us banding together.

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” – Revelation 21:24,27.

Today’s Prayer: God, You love us so much, You want to see us prosper and give us everything we want and need, all You ask in return is that we worship only You. Lord, with all the temptations of the world, it can be difficult to keep You above all that, but we can do all things by Your power. Lead us and guide us, give us Your power to keep Your first, and to first and far most, acknowledge You in all that You bless us with so we no do forget that it it You who gives us everything we have. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
