Below is a plan, it is God’s plan that teaches us how to receive the
gift of eternal life and Kingdom of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. After
you have read this plan, you will have the knowledge you need to accept
God's gift. It is solely up to you whether or not you choose to do so. I
pray that God will work in your heart to enable you to understand these
truths and welcome you into the Kingdom of God.
1.
You Must Realize We All Have Sinned
"For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
- Romans 3:23
Sin is any wrong doing in your life, it is any action, thought, or
word spoken that is immoral, deceitful, or illegal. Sin includes more
than just stealing, cheating, and adultery, it is also acts such as
rebellion, lying, anger, bitterness, and disobedience of any sort. No
one is without sin, no matter how much one tries to keep the wrongs out
of their lives, we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God
(getting to heaven on our own).
2. You Must Realize
God's Price For Sin "For
the wages of sin is death;" -
Romans 6:23a. "And
death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second
death."
- Revelation 20:14. "But
the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have
their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is
the second death."
- Revelation 21:8.
God's price for sin is death. God is not just
talking about a physical death here, we are all going to die one day, He
is talking about a second death, the death of the soul. When we are born
we have a body, and a soul, but we do not have the Spirit of God in us.
When the flesh dies, this is the first death, leaving the soul to go to
one of two places, heaven or hell.
3. You Must Realize
That You Are A Sinner Too "Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death
passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
- Romans 5:12.
Since the beginning of creation when Adam and Eve
sinned by eating the forbidden fruit we have been cursed and are all
born with a sin nature. You cannot escape the death payment owed to God
for even the tiniest of sin done years ago. If you say that you have no
sin in your life than you are unaware of this truth, for everyone has
sinned. "If
we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not
in us."
- I John 1:10.
4. You Must Realize God Sent Someone The
Price For Your Sin "For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that
the world through him might be saved."
- John 3:16,17.
God does love you and does not want to see you
cast into hell and the lake of fire. God sent His only begotten Son,
meaning to bare, bring forth, to save you, "Behold,
a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they
shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had
bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had
brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS."
- Matthew 1:23-25. Emmanuel means God with us, Jesus means Savior. This
means that since Jesus was sent here through the immaculate conception
of Mary, this qualified Him to be born without sin.
5.
You Must Realize How Jesus Paid The Price For You
"But
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we
shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we
were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being
reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."
- Romans 5:8-10.
Jesus paid the price of your sin debt by giving
up His life for you. "For
he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of God in him."
- 2 Corinthians 5:21.
6. You Must Realize That
Jesus Did Not Just Die, He Arose From The Dead Also
“Now
upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came
unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and
certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the
sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord
Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout,
behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were
afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them,
Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen:
remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,” -
Luke 24:1-6.
Jesus might have died that day, but He
resurrected three days later, proving that His death would provide a
permanent solution for the price owed for sin. Jesus not only provided a
way for us to bet to heaven, but that we might have the victory over the
second death by His resurrection.
7.
Now, If You Believe In Jesus, God Has A Gift For You
"For
the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord."
- Romans 6:23.
The gift is the Gift of Eternal Life. Eternal
life, means endless, forever, and always, it is only through Jesus
Christ that you can receive the gift of eternal life. "And
this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this
life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not
the Son of God hath not life."
- 1 John 5:11,12.
8. How To Receive God's Gift
There is only One Way to receive His
gift, you have to ask Him for it, believing in the death, burial, and
resurrection of Jesus Christ. "That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation."
- Romans 10:9,10.
The only way to ask God for
anything is by talking to Him, and we do that by prayer, so, you must
pray to God yourself. Confessing to a priest, pastor, or praying to Mary
or any saint cannot and will not take you to heaven. No one can pray for
you to get into heaven, you must call on Jesus yourself and ask Him to
save you. "For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
- Romans 10:13.
Are You Ready to Receive The Gift Of Eternal Life?
Accept the following statements to be
true.
-
I believe that Jesus is the
Son of God and that He is the only way to heaven.
-
I realize that I am a sinner
and cannot get to heaven on my own.
-
I realize that Jesus paid the
price for my sins when He died for me.
-
I believe God raised Him from
the dead three days later to give me victory over death.
-
I realize that salvation is a
free gift from God through Jesus Christ, and nothing else is
required.
-
I realize that the only way I
can receive Gods gift is to ask Him for it myself.
Now, if you believed those statements to be true then pray this
prayer
Dear God,
I confess that I am a sinner. I do
believe with all of my heart that Your Son, Jesus Christ led a sinless
life and died for me to pay my sin debt. I ask Jesus to come into my
heart and save me. From this moment on I have complete trust in Him and
will only depend on Him for my salvation. Amen.
Congratulations!
Now, if you just said that prayer and
it was truly from your heart then you have received God's gift of
eternal life. That means that will enjoy eternity with Your Saviour,
Jesus Christ in the Kingdom of God.
