Message: False Prophets

Hello My Friend,

I watched this movie, “One Church”, while it is fictional, if you want an idea of what it would be like when the entire world will be under one religion, I do recommend that you watch it. Yes, there will come a time, which we are fast approaching, that the entire world will unite every religion known to man, and it will become one religion that we would be forced to comply with or suffer gravely. This will be a time when many true Christians will suffer the worst persecution there has ever been since the early church. It is also a grave reminder that what Jesus warns us about it fast approaching as well.

[Mark 13:19-23  For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.  20  And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.  21  And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:  22  For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.  23  But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.]

While God’s main focus for sending Isaiah to Israel and Judah was to warn them of the judgment that was coming, there is a very strong message for all nations as well. There will come a time that His own Son would not only come to earth in the flesh, but be the Saviour of the world and also reign over all who believe in and receive Him. As God continues to show Israel their fate, He sends Isaiah to both Israel and Judah that they will be invaded by Assyria.

[Isaiah 8:1-6  Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.  2  And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.  3  And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.  4  For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.  5  The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,  6  Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;]

[concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.] [Maher-salal-hash-baz; Hasting (as he (the enemy) booty, swift (to the) prey.] This would be the son that Isaiah had with his wife, his name is symbolic and was given as a warning of when Assyria would siege Israel, [2 Kings 16:9]. There is also a warning to Judah, that while they would not the ones to siege it, they would break it up. Judah is actually called the land of Immanuel because Jesus would be born, live, and die there. This is particularly mentioned, to show that, although Samaria will be taken from the Jews, it will not destroyed, until Immanuel, which means, God with us, judges it from Judah.

[Isaiah 8:8-14  And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.  9  Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.  10  Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.  11  For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,  12  Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.  13  Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14  And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.]

[all ye of far countries:] This message is for all nations, and they are going to know that this came from God. The whole land is compared to a body of water, of which Jerusalem was the head and the Assyrian army was a great river that overflowed the whole land, which took hold of Judah, and came up to the neck of Jerusalem, but it would not be destroyed. This actually did take place shortly after the Assyrians took much of Israel captive, and while they did come into Judah, they did not overtake them, [2 Kings 19:35]. Why? This would be where Christ would descend in the flesh through David’s descendants. It would also be when people from all nations will seek Christ, even before His crucifixion. And if you pay close attention to the words you will discover that Jesus is the one speaking through much of this, which we learn through this passage.

[Isaiah 8:16-20  Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.  17  And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.  18  Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.  19  And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?  20  To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.]

[should not a people seek unto their God?] Why is is that every religion can talk about their god and no one will be offended, even Muslims who would literally kill a man if he is found out to be gay, and yet Christians are not allowed to speak about Christ? I will tell you why, those are man made gods, and Christ is not only the Son of God, He is the only living God, who is not only the Light of the world, but the only God of the living, [Mark 12:26-27  And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?  27  He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.]

You see, the world is so dark that they really are seeking the Light, but the problem is that they are finding dark spirits that are appealing to their flesh, and therefore, they do not have the Light in them. There is no reason that God fearing, saved, born again Christians, do not have the same rights as everyone else to preach the Gospel, we do have more challenges because Satan is going to try to stop us at every level, but it can be done. How? Because we have seen the Light, and now He is in us. Through Isaiah, God shows Israel and the rest of the world who the Light is.

[Isaiah 9:1-2,5-7  Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.  2  The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 5  For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.  6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  7  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.]

[they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death,] Until we know who Christ is we dwell in the shadow of death, we are not of the living, but of the dead, the dead souls that is. However, once we see Christ for who He truly is and receive Him as our Saviour we are passed from death to life, [Romans 6:8-10  Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:  9  Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  10  For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.]

And if you ever wondered why God allows so much false religion and is actually allowing this one world religion to take place, here is the answer. Through Isaiah, God gives the reason why He allows the false prophets, [Isaiah 9:13-17  For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.  14  Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.  15  The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.  16  For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.  17  Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.]

[and the prophet that teacheth lies,] If they are going to believe the lies over the truth, then God will allow that to happen. That does not mean that God will have mercy on the false prophets either, they too will face Jesus. As God continues, He expresses His anger toward those who led people astray, and the grievous and oppressive rules they placed on them, [Isaiah 10:1-4  Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;  2  To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!  3  And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?  4  Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.]

[Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees,] There is no freedom in following false religion, nor is there freedom in forsaking God all together. God is all for rules and discipline, but when those rules cause His people to sin that is when judgment will be upon them. Through Isaiah, God foretells that once He is done using Assyria to judge Israel, He will judge them as well.

[Isaiah 10:11-13,17,20  Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?  12  Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.  13  For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: 17  And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; 20  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.]

[that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion] God has given the task of Judge to Jesus Christ Himself, the amazing thing is that while Christ is the Son of God, He is also the Son of man, meaning as being conceived of the Holy Spirit, who is God, through the seed of David, who is man. Only those who hear His voice will live when He returns to judge the world. Now, through Isaiah God foretells the coming of the Messiah, this time revealing that He alone who would judge all mankind.

[Isaiah 11:1,3,8-11  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 3  And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 8  And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.  9  They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.  10  And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.  11  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.]

[and his rest shall be glorious.] There is nothing more glorious than being in the rest of Jesus. Both a remnant of Jews and Gentile will flock to Jesus. And He will not lift one finger to judge the earth, He will speak, and not just any words, it will be the Word of God, [Matthew 11:27-29  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.  28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.]

While salvation has never been about works, after all, God knows that we are never without sin, it has always been about trusting in the LORD as our Saviour. The works that believers do for God has never been about keeping our salvation, but everything to do with showing God that we love and are trusting only in Him for our salvation. Not the false prophet, not the false religion, not the false version of God’s Word, but the one and only Son of God, who by the way is our LORD and Saviour. Through Isaiah, God speaks of the glorious day when all believers will seek Him and be saved, even Israel.

[Isaiah 12:1-6  And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.  2  Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.  3  Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.  4  And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.  5  Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.  6  Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.]

[thine anger is turned away,] What is God’s anger? Sin. Sin has made us enemies with God. Jesus Christ reconciles us with Him, turning that anger away and comforting us with salvation. What an amazing day it is the second we bow our head and receive the Lord, Jesus Christ as our Saviour. We not only are saved from hell, we are reconciled with God, we can face Him and live because He no longer sees our wretched sin filled flesh, He sees His Son, [Colossians 1:19-23  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;  20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.  21  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled  22  In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:  23  If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Isaiah 8:14  And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 10:20  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. Isaiah 11:1  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:]

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, It still amazes me that You went through so much pain to save me by my simple faith and trust in Your finished work. When I think of the years I was caught up in false religion and where I would be if I died before I knew the truth I cringe. Lord, work in the heart of every unsaved soul and help them understand what You did for them and how important it is to know and walk with You. Give me Your power, use me to be a witness to the lost, and help me to be bold enough to keep speaking the truth. In Your name Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
