Message: Sabbath of The LORD

Hello My Friend,

As I was praying this morning I was begging for God to end the pandemic and remove those out of office who are trying to bring our country to ruin. Then it occurred to me, as corrupt as this who thing has been, and with these labs labeling everything as Covid, perhaps the virus itself is gone, but it is in the will of these people to keep us in a panic, and living under their rule until they have complete control over everything from what we eat to where we live. Then as I was reading the chapters for today, Jesus reminded me of something, [Mark 3:25-29  And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.  26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.  27  No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.  28  Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:  29  But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:]

Eventually all these fools who keep dividing this nation are going to turn on each other, in fact, they are starting to already. You cannot mess with God anointed, He will protect them, and He will get vengeance, and He will not have to lift a finger because they are going to destroy themselves. God anointed, meaning, His saved, and born again, whom have accepted His Son as their Saviour. While we may have to suffer some through this mess, God will take care of us, and believe it or not, we who are faithful and have not turned on Him are shining a light on this darkness, that is bringing lost souls to Christ. When God gave His commands, He did not limit them to the Israelite’s, they were for all who choose Him in their lives. He did however choose them as a promise that He had made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who is their father. Once the Tabernacle was set up and all the items in it, it was essential that a light be burning continuously. It was not just an ordinary light, it was a pure light, burned with pure olive oil.

[Leviticus 24:2-7  Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.  3  Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.  4  He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.  5  And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.  6  And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.  7  And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.]

[that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light,] Do you remember oil lamps? They were the coolest. I remember growing up and having them in the house, of course, they were used as decoration, but it was something of a miracle to watch fire burning from a wick that was soaked in oil. Notice that everything was pure, the oil, the candlestick [menorah], table, and incense. Pure means, free from moral defilement; without spot; not soiled or tarnished. When Christ anoints us with His blood, it is pure, we become pure, just like the oil was used to light the way, Jesus’ blood lights our way, [I Peter 1:18-19  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  19  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:]

As I said earlier, God did not limit His Law or Himself to just the Israelite’s, it was for all who choose Him, including the heathen, which we all are before we know Christ as our Saviour, and the stranger, those who believe in God, but do not know Christ just yet. And let me tell you, it does not matter if you are a stranger or know of Him, God takes it seriously when He says that He will destroy anyone who tempts Him or blasphemes His name. A man and his mother, who was an Israelite, but the father an Egyptian learned that the hard way when he blasphemed God and took His name in vain. God is very merciful, and accepts our complaints when we come to Him, but He will not accept contempt, hateful, or dishonoring words or actions toward Him.

[Leviticus 24:15-17,22-23  And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.  16  And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.  17  And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death. 22  Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.  23  And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.]

[Ye shall have one manner of law,] There is no such thing is one rule for some and another rule for the rest of us, there is one Law, and we all must follow it if we choose God. And there is only one way to God and that is Christ. Any other law, belief, even of it is believed that one must accept Christ and follow the rules of that religion, to remain saved, is dishonoring God, and it will be the death of them, [Romans 2:9-11  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;  10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:  11  For there is no respect of persons with God.]

Regardless of what the world the world says about God, He does have compassion on all people, He does give them ample opportunities to believe in and accept Him unless they are reprobates. In regards to His own, God does not want to cause unnecessary hurt upon us, but the truth is we often cause it upon ourselves, and who often gets the blame, He does. The Sabbath year was a year long rest for God, there would be no cultivating of the land, the people would only be relying only on what was stored for the previous six years as their provisions.

[Leviticus 25:3-4,8-10,12  Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;  4  But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. 8  And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.  9  Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.  10  And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.  12  For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.]

[a sabbath for the LORD:] This is basically the same thing as faith without works is dead, we need to give God a rest sometimes, not in the sense that we stop asking Him for the things that we have need of, or His protects, but stop working so hard and have some faith that He will care for and provide for us, even when the famines come. Every fifty years there would be a special Sabbath year, the year of jubilee, which was an entire year of rest, restoration, and redemption. During the jubilee, those who were sold as slaves were set free, lands were to be restored to the original owner or an heir. If they trusted God, and followed the Law, then God would bless their obedience, with even more than what they would earn from the harvest.

[Leviticus 25:17-22  Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.  18  Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.  19  And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.  20  And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:  21  Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.  22  And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.]

[and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.] Do you see why some years are more abundant than others? Do you see why these crazy snow storms come to those who rarely get snow, or the rain comes to almost a halt at times? This is God’s way of making the land fruitful after it is all over. When we trust God and prepare for what is to come, and all this by the way was in reference to what had happened to them when they were in Egypt, and how they sold off everything to the government, even themselves, in fear of not surviving. And that is why God came up with the Year of Jubilee, anything that was sold in desperation was to be restored.

[Leviticus 25:23,25-27,29-31  The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. 25  If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.  26  And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;  27  Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.  29  And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.  30  And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.  31  But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.]

[for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.] This is not our home, all that we possess right now will come to an end, and we cannot take it where we are going, [II Corinthians 5:6-8  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:  7  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)  8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.]

[And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year,] So, why was their property not restored within the walls, after a year, but it was if it was outside of the walls? Well, the land was owned by God, the property was not, if they did come back for their property within a year they were allowed to get it back, if they did not come for it, then it would remain in the possession of the one who bought it. As for property built out in the villages, it was built on land owned by the government, and therefore, it would be restored at the jubilee. When we are fallen on hard times it can be easy to forget all the blessings from God, and we often do make unwise decisions that bring us more suffering. There are way too many rich and corrupt people willing to take advantage of those who have fallen on hard times, and that is why God instituted the jubilee.

[Leviticus 25:35-38  And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.  36  Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.  37  Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.  38  I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.]

[thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.] If there is anything that this pandemic has done good, it is the forgiveness of debt, or rather these institutions that have spent years taking advantage of people with high interest debts that are near impossible to pay off. It is time that we be more compassionate and kind to all, especially the strangers, they could be angels by the way, [Hebrews 13:2-3,16-17  Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.  3  Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. 16  But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.  17  Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.]

People reject God for so many reasons, even people who are saved disregard His Word as if it no longer applies to them because they believe the Law of Moses as something just for the Jews. Let me tell you, there is no Jew or Gentile with God, yes, they are distinguished as such in order to show the difference between those who were born of the children of Israel and those who are not, but one law applies to all. Yes, the poor were bought as servants, including the heathens, but stop and think about what that did for them, they became hired servants, not slaves, and they became as though they were one of them.

[Leviticus 25:44-46  Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.  45  Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.  46  And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.]

[and they shall be your possession.] Those whom have been bought and paid for by accepting Christ belong to Christ and are God’s family, therefore, they serve God, and are subject to Him. Those whom are not serve man and are under their possession, that is if they want to keep their jobs. When we belong to Christ, even though we serve Him we are not slaves, we are His friends, [John 15:14-16  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.  15  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.  16  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Leviticus 25:45-46  Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.  46  And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.]

Today’s Prayer: God, I will admit that I do not always understand Your plan for my life, I struggle a little every day to keep my head up when I want to just give up. I often wonder what I am doing wrong or what do I have to do for You change things. In reality all You want from me is my faith and trust in You, and let You lead me. Thank You Lord, for the times of rest, even in my labor to get me to draw closer to You and seek You for the things I need. Give me Your power, wisdom, guidance, mercy, grace, and patience to wait for You, and let me not stop praising You even when I do not see You. Put Your hedge of protection around me and shield me from all evil while You deal with the world. I ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
