Message: One God, One Nation Under God

Hello My Friend,

More ThanThere are three forms of Israel, the county of Israel, the children of Israel (Jacob), and the nation of Israel. The country, once Canaan, was personally given to the children of Israel for an inheritance, whom He had chosen to be His people to not only prove to the world that He is the only living God and Creator of all, but that He never goes back on His promises. He uses the nation of Israel (the saved) to prove that Jew and Gentile alike are united under the same God, by which today we are joined with through Jesus Christ. When we receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we are become part of the nation of Israel, therefore we are children of God, and of Israel, and Abraham too.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” – Galatians 3:26-29.

Religions all over the world claim they know God, they follow all sorts of rules, do all these rituals, pray, read some spiritual book, and even cry out to Him, but all of those works will do nothing if we do not know Him. To know God we need to be redeemed (forgiven of our sins), no amount works will get His attention unless we have made an atonement for our sins. Jews and Gentiles (those not of the children of Israel) alike have been told of heaven and hell and that one, and only Saviour could redeem them. Through Isaiah, God has a message for Jew and Gentile alike.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.” – Isaiah 42:1,6-10.

and my glory will I not give to another,” You want to get on God’s bad side? Start worshiping another god as if you are worshiping Him. By the way, unless you are worshiping the one and only living God that is written in the Old and New Testaments you are worshiping a false god. Also, unless you know Jesus Christ personally as your Saviour you do not know God.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” – I John 5:10-13.

Through Isaiah, God reminds Israel that He created them and they are His people, but if you read carefully you will see that He was not only talking about the children of Israel here, but the nation of Israel as well.

For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel. Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities. I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.” – Isaiah 43:3-5,22-26.

but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins,” Many Jews make the mistake of believing that because they are Jews they are automatically saved. This is false, we all face judgment, and God confirms this. We are not saved by race, religion, or works, we are saved by atonement, and today, it is the shed blood of the Lord, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for all who believe in Him. Blood was always necessary for atonement, Jesus made it permanent.

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” – Hebrews 9:11,12,17,18.

God used Israel to be a witness that the most stiffnecked, hardhearted, people can turn their fate around when they trust the only living God. The same is true for the Christian today, we are not saved by our works, but by believing in our Saviour, our God, our King, our LORD, Jesus Christ. We are witnesses also, that Christ can turn our fate around, and not only that, but bless us tremendously when we trust Him and let Him be our King and Lord of our lives. Those who reject Christ reject God, and are not different than the Jews who reject Him, they are their own witnesses.

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand. And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree? He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand? Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.” – Isaiah 44:6,9,18-21.

for he hath shut their eyes,” Ever wonder why some people are just oblivious to the truths of God? It is because God closes their eyes to it, which is why we pray for God to open their eyes. Remember the Pharaoh of Egypt when Moses tried to get him to set the Jews free, God hardened his heart until He was ready to let them go. God is always in control, and while He does not mess with our free will, He does harden hearts that have no intention of receiving Him, but will use anyone to get willing hearts to see He is the only God.

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.” – Isaiah 45:5-9,22,23,25.

In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified,” God is talking about all the spiritual seed of Israel, whether Jew or Gentile, we are all the offspring of God through Jesus Christ, making us one seed, one nation of Israel. “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” – Romans 8:16,17.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts;” – Isaiah 44:6a.

Today’s Prayer: God, In a world full of false religion it is comforting to know that no religion or race is necessary to save me from my sins. You alone, came here in the form of Your Son, Jesus Christ to redeem all who believe in and receive Him, as their Saviour permanently, and that is enough for me. I am one of Yours because I believe in Your Son, and while I know nothing I do on this earth can save me, I do want to live me life through Your Son as a way to thank You for making such a great sacrifice. Lord, let me be a godly witness for all to see Your Son in me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
