Message: God Is Always In Control

Hello My Friend,

The devil is often portrayed as this two horned wicked beast who’s home is hell, and he brings all the souls that he bought down there with him. You know, as much as we would like to believe that this is his image, it is not. While we have no idea what Satan looks like, he is handsome, smart, powerful, even talks about Jesus, and his home is not hell just yet, he lives among us in hopes that he can keep every soul from salvation. Satan cannot buy a soul, every soul belongs to God, and while he can certainly control a body, he cannot control a soul and where it ends up. Jesus does buy souls and He bought them with His life, those who believe in His sinless death, burial, and resurrection and accept Him as their Saviour are bought by Him and saved from hell by Him. God controls souls, and He determines where they will go by the choice each person makes about Christ. “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” – I Corinthians 6:20.

It is a known fact that those who receive Christ as their Saviour are blessed, well beyond their salvation, nations rise every day because of strong Christian leaders. However, they also fall, quicker than you think when the leaders no longer look to God. During the time the Judah fell and was overtaken by Babylon Tyre was very prosperous, they prided themselves on being untouchable and gloated over the fact that they became that way as a result of Judah’s fall. After God gave the judgment of Tyre, He singles out the prince.

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.– Ezekiel 28:2-7.

and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:You can be sure that if we start boasting about all that we created for ourselves, before long we are bringing ourselves to the level of God. God has no problem with His people prospering, in fact, He encourages it and blesses them tremendously for being faithful to Him through it all. If we start becoming arrogant, proud, deeming ourselves as untouchable, and forgetting that God is the source of our success, He will take it away quicker then we can blink our eyes. “For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.– Luke 14:11.

God had been known to use Egypt over the centuries, even to protect His only begotten Son. At one time, it was a great and powerful nation, in fact, many of the things we enjoy today were invented by the Egyptians. During the time of the fall of Jerusalem, the Pharaoh proudly and wickedly boasted of having established his kingdom so strongly, that even God was not powerful enough to take it from Him. Egypt never seemed to grasp the power of God, and in fact, was, and still is always in control. God sent Ezekiel to Egypt to foretell the end of Egypt as a great and powerful nation.

And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it. Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered: And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.– Ezekiel 29:6-9,13-15.

neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations:People think that God only deals with the Jews and Christians because they are the ones who believe in Him, but God deals with all people, He still creates them even though they refuse to acknowledge Him, and He will judge them all the same. Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.– Romans 2:9-11.

Nations and people can turn away from God all they want, but that does not change the fact that He is still in control of everything and sooner or later all will know that He is the Lord. In order for our nations to be blessed we as individuals need to take a stand and realize that we cannot do this alone. Through Ezekiel, God continues to foretell His judgment placed on Egypt, and how they would too be overtaken by Babylon.

Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man. But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.– Ezekiel 30:21-25.

I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt;God did not literally break his arm, he broke the strength of them as a powerful nation. God will break the strength of Egypt and use Babylon to do it. Egypt had been a cruel oppressor of God people and a broken rod to them, now God by breaking his arm He judges him for both. The king of Egypt shall be in fear for his life when he finds himself in danger of the king of Babylon’s forces. He shall groan before him with the groaning, but will not find mercy. One day, God will use His power to break the arm of Satan, and destroy him once and for all. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” – Revelation 20:10. Praise God!

Jesus Christ Magnified: “Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.” – Ezekiel 28:25.

Today’s Prayer: God, You love us so much, You want to see us prosper and give us everything we want and need, all You ask in return is that we worship only You. Lord, with all the temptations of the world, and the devil right there trying yo manipulate us, it can be difficult to keep You above all that. However, we can do all things by Your power. Lord, Lead us and guide us, give us Your power to keep Your first, and to first and far most, acknowledge You in all that You bless us with so we no do forget that it is You who gives us everything we have. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
