Message: Christ’s Victory

Hello My Friend,

Happy Resurrection Day! These verses came to mind as I was praying this morning, [Genesis 2:17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.]

I was thanking Jesus for going beyond being my sacrifice, and raising from the dead, breaking the curse of death, bruising Satan’s head. For three days this fool thought that he fought with God and won, His only begotten Son did not come down from that cross and send a legion of angels, He died a painful death, something that I am sure he was a part of. Satan’s wannabe victory as Jesus laid in the grave for three days and three nights became a defeat as that tomb was rolled away, and Jesus was not in it. Amen! Evidence of Christ’s victory was shown when Thomas said he would not believe that He arose until he saw the nail prints in His hands, [John 20:27-29  Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.  28  And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.  29  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.]

As we approach the day that Jesus will return and Satan’s days are numbered, we are quickly falling into some kind of time warp where less people are turning to God. Those that do have created Him into this alternate god that loves evil and accepts it as through He made them that way. Meanwhile, God sends judgment upon them in an attempt to get them to repent, but of course, He does leave a select few to guide the true believers to His Son. The longer this pandemic goes on and these fools in office oppress the people the more I realize that this is not man, and it is not Satan, this is God and He is going to get them on their knees one way or another. Once again, Israel forsook God and they were oppressed by the Philistines. This time God would send a deliver that would be born a Nazarite, and He used a couple of the tribe of Dan.

[Judges 13:1-5,8-9  And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.  2  And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not.  3  And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.  4  Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:  5  For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. 8  Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.]

[the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb:] A Nazarite was someone who made a vow with God and would commit to keeping themselves from defiling themselves while they were under the vow. When we accept Christ as our Saviour, we make a vow with God that we are trusting in the death, burial, and resurrection of His only begotten Son, who never once defiled His body, [Romans 10:9-10  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.]

So many religions teach that Jesus is just a prophet or ordinary man who managed to keep himself out of sin and sacrificed His life for his faith. Some do not believe that He resurrected, or that He was born of a virgin. Sadly, some go as far as believing that Jesus did have sin, but man showed him the err of his ways. I am not making any of this up, religion will forever send people to hell with their ridiculous ideologies. Jesus may have been born in the flesh, through the virgin Mary, which by the way, needed to be achieved in order for Genesis 3:15 to be fulfilled, but He has always been, and the people that were here before He descended here in the flesh knew who He was whenever they saw Him, at least, after He had spent time with them and left. Now, God granted Manoah’s request, the angel of the LORD returned.

[Judges 13:15-20,22-23  And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee.  16  And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the LORD.  17  And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?  18  And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?  19  So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the LORD: and the angel did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on.  20  For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground. 22  And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.  23  But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.]

[seeing it is secret?] The world cannot and will never know Christ until they face Him upon their death and are cast into hell for their unbelief. The few who see His sacrifice on the cross, His burial, and resurrection call Him Wonderful, Counselor, Saviour, and when they see Him for who He is, that is when God accepts the sacrifice and we are given eternal life, [Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.]

I said this yesterday and God confirmed it in today’s reading, we do not know what God’s plans are for each of us, sometimes what one is doing may seem like they are not in the will of God, but they actually are. We see this as Samson took a liking to the Philistine women, and asked his parents to get one of them for his wife.

[Judges 14:1-4  And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.  2  And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.  3  Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.  4  But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.]

[But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD,] While God does not condone mixed marriages, and I am talking about mixed religions, He will use every situation to His advantage. Keep in mind, that we may not always understand God’s plan, but He always has a plan, and that is why we are not to lean on our own understanding, but His. God will take us where we need to be and give us the knowledge, strength, and guidance to fulfill His plan, whatever it may be, [Romans 8:27-28  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.]

You know, sometimes it may not seem like we are completely off the mark, that we are not in the will of God at all, that we are making these huge mistakes in what we are doing? What God is doing in all this is strengthening us for what He will have us to do. Last year, for the first time in my walk with Christ, I admitted to God that while I do not understand why He allowed some things in my life, I did understand that He knew where I was going, and whatever befalls me, that is what I need to accept, and He will use it all for good. Now, some times passes by, Samson returns for his wife, only to find out that her father had given her to another man.

[Judges 15:1-5  But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.  2  And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.  3  And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.  4  And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.  5  And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.]

[Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines,] And this was God’s purpose, to anger them and get them in one place. God to use this to show His strength through Samson, not only to the Philistines, but Israel as well. The Philistines gathered an army together, but when the men of Judah saw them they feared for their lives and they turned him in.

[Judges 15:9-15  Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.  10  And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.  11  Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.  12  And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.  13  And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.  14  And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.  15  And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.]

[Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us?] This is exactly why our nation is falling quickly into the hands of the wicked rulers, they will not put their faith in God, they will not stand up to them and cower in fear. This is exactly why Trump was cheated out of a second victory and Biden is in office right now, they have cowered to these extremist that really have only one agenda, to remove God out of this country. God will prevail, [Psalms 20:5-9  We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.  6  Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.  7  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.  8  They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.  9  Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.]

[and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him,] The victory was not in the weapon, not in his own strength, it was the God inside of Him. We can only do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, and those who are given liberty by the blood of Christ are indeed set free. When God calls us for some strange requests it is to strengthen us, grow us, and use us for His work. We cannot break the will of God because if we do we will end up right back where we were, only taking much longer to get there. Do not fight God, and by all means do not try to handle things on your own, go to Jesus, seek His face, trust Him, let Him guide you, strengthen you, and walk with you, [Psalms 105:1-4  O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.  2  Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.  3  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.  4  Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Judges 13:20  For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.]

Today’s Prayer: God, I will not dare say that I understand Your ways all the time, but I will say that Your ways are the best and will do much more for me than anything I try to do on my own. You know where You have placed me, and You know when, why, how, and what I have to endure to see it through. Lord, lead me and guide me, give me Your mercy, grace, strength, wisdom, guidance, and the patience to wait on You as you work in me to endure this strange request You have given me. Work on my heart, keep me faithful, true, and from trying to handle this situation on my own. I know that as I follow Your commands and live that You will see me through and I will see Your mighty hand bring it all together. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
