Message: Come To Zion

Hello My Friend,

Zion; the name is derived from the Greek word Tzun, and it means, a monument raised up. It is the mountain of God. In fact, it is where David bought and paid for the threshing floor, and where he built the altar that removed the plague that killed seventy thousand people in three days. It is where the Solomon built the first temple, and it will be where Jesus will reign as KING when He returns. It is where the remnant of nations of all believers will flock, calling upon the LORD, and where all His saints will worship and praise Him until the earth is no more.

[Joel 2:28-32  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  29  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.  30  And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.  31  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.  32  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.]

[and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.] You do not have to wait for Jesus to return to go to Zion, in fact, it would be wise not to wait because we only have our breath in us to call on Him. Just believe in Christ, His sinless death on the cross at Calvary, His burial, and resurrection three days later, to save you from the terrible day on the LORD, and just call upon the name of the LORD, and you will be there, [Romans 10:9-10  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.]

Souls that are come to Zion, know their privilege, they do not need permission from someone else who is just as much as a sinner to come to Him. They are conscious of their high calling, and having found peace in the blood of Christ, have constant access to a mercy-seat, and enjoy sweet daily communion with their Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ, [Hebrews 9:11-12,15  But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;  12  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.  15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.]

[they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.] Do you understand that the second you receive Christ as your Saviour you received the promise of eternal inheritance? That means, by your faith alone you have eternal life, not of your own works, but your faith alone in God’s Son. And nothing you do will ever do will change that. Yes, if we have sin in our lives, our Father is going to chasten us, like our earthly parents did, but no matter what we have done, past, present, or future, we can go to God at any time for reconciliation. [Psalms 134:1-3  A Song of degrees. Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.  2  Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.  3  The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.]

[which by night stand in the house of the LORD.] How awesome is it, that day or night, you can reach out to God, and He is right there for you? We do not need a building with four walls labeled as a church to worship God, for all who are saved and born again are the house of God. Yes, it stinks that the churches are getting the bad rap in all this garbage, many still forced to keep the doors closed, but we can have church anywhere, in a park, in a parking lot, in a bedroom, wherever God’s people gather that is the church. We do not need anyone’s permission, we do not need to confess our sin to another sinner, we do not need to remove every bit of sin from our lives before we go to Him, we can just go to Him in all sincerity, and He will help us, even through the deepest of messes. Let me tell you, God has more mercy than man any day, if we left our salvation in the hands of anyone else, but Christ we would all be in hell because man sees what they want to see as sin.

[Psalms 146:5-10  Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:  6  Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:  7  Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:  8  The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:  9  The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.  10  The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.]

[The LORD looseth the prisoners:] I realized something since this whole pandemic started, it is not God who holds us bondage to our past, it is those who pass judgment on you for your past, and never let you forget it. Let me tell you, if God can forgive us, and forget what we have done, it is time we all do the same to others. It is so easy for us to make ourselves look better by tearing someone else down, but we must all come to realize that we all have sin in our lives. The gossip, the liar, the conniver, the smoker, the drug addict, the drinker, the fornicator, the cheater, the proud, the envious. Whatever it is, it is all the same to God, sin, and Christ set free from the prison of sin we were in. It is Satan who actually tries to keep us prisoners, Jesus said it best, [John 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.]

[Ye are of your father the devil,] Saved, born again Christians who pass judgment on their fellow brother and sisters of Christ are not necessarily children of the devil, but he has corrupted their minds into making assumptions and accusations that are not true. Let me tell you, we have no one to prove, but God. He knows the way we take, what we have done, and what the truth is. And even if we have messed up, we have God’s amazing mercy and grace to help us get out of it when we come to Him for help. How many times did David mess up, or Moses, even Abraham? WE ARE NOT DEFINED BY OUR PAST, WE ARE DEFINED BY WHAT WE DO TODAY IN OUR FAITH.

[Psalms 147:3-6,10-12,18-20   He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.  4  He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.  5  Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.  6  The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.  10  He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.  11  The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.  12  Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. 18  He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.  19  He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.  20  He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.]

[in those that hope in his mercy.] Where is your hope? My hope is in the LORD, Jesus Christ. The fear of God is not about following a bunch of laws that are frankly man made, or succumbing to what people want us to be. It is conforming to the image of Christ, through our faith, faithfulness, confession, repentance, and showing love and compassion to all. There is a difference between righteous judgment and passing judgment on people, and we need to remind ourselves that a little love and compassion is more effective than harsh rebuke, especially when we do not actually know what happened, [Luke 6:35-37  But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.  36  Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.  37  Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:]

[and ye shall be forgiven:] You know, the majority of people who go on a rampage and attack someone are not the ones that were offended? All the stuff still going one with the death of George Floyd, none of these people were involved, all they see is black and white, and some video that happened to capture that part of what happened. It does not show what led up to that, and I guarantee you it had nothing to do with a counterfeit twenty dollar bill. What happened was between those officers and George Floyd, we have no right to assume anything other than the fact that the officer got a little rough with the guy. And this is exactly why God’s Law is true, and not mans, man falsely accuses us of whatever it is they want to believe rather than what actually happened. Again, we have no one to prove, we still do not deserve to be treated the way we are, whether we are guilty or not. And let me tell you, we are all guilty of something, and can all praise God for His salvation.

[Psalms 149:1-6  Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.  2  Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.  3  Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.  4  For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.  5  Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.  6  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;]

[and a twoedged sword in their hand;] What is the two edged sword in our hand? The Word of God. It is the Word of God that gets in us and changes our heart, mind, and spirit, [Hebrews 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.]

[and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.] God certainly knows our heart, and when we trust Him He binds up the wounds of every pain and sorrow we have and gives us hope like no other. Therefore, whether we are happy or sad we are to praise Him for all His goodness. After all, the sorrows will not last, and one day there will be no more, [Psalms 150:1-2  Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.  2  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.]

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, How comforting and hopeful is it to know that one day, all Your people will join You in Zion, but we do not need to wait for that day to see Zion. It is truly amazing how much my life has changed since I became Yours. You literally picked me up and brought me out of the prison I was in, I know I mess up still, but I know how far I have come and I have only You to thank for that. Lord, Give me Your power to love, trust, and follow You with my whole heart, mind, and soul, let me not become weary or doubtful, but stronger in my faith as I walk with You. Give me the strength to walk with You every day and the will to see a little bit of You in me each day. Let me not be judgmental, but loving and compassionate to all, yet discerning. I ask these things in your name Jesus. Amen

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
