Message: Reconciled

Hello My Friend,

Convert; To turn from a bad life to a good one; to change the heart and moral character, from enmity to God to love of God. Before Jesus came to earth in the flesh and gave His life for all mankind, God’s people were known as the people of Israel, meaning those who were of the descendants of Jacob (Israel). Anyone else was considered a stranger, and if they wanted God to be their God they would be converted as a Jew. Today, God’s people are not just descendants of Jacob or converted strangers, they are people of every nation whom have gone from being enemies with God to people of God, [Romans 5:9-10  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  10  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.]

We have been reading about a glorious new temple that will be built when Jesus returns. Now, as God takes Ezekiel to the place where His throne would be as well as the altar in which Israel will bring their sacrifices, the Glory of God returned, filling the new temple.

[Ezekiel 43:5-10  So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.  6  And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.  7  And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.  8  In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.  9  Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.  10  Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.]

[that they may be ashamed of their iniquities:] It is the Glory of the LORD, namely, the Holy Spirit, that brings us to the knowledge that we have sinned. In order to come to the knowledge of Christ we must first be ashamed of what we have done in our sin. No one is without sin, and those who say they have not are liars, [I John 1:8-10]. This can be a little confusing, especially since Jesus eliminated the need for animal sacrifices when He gave His life as the one and only sacrifice needed, but something comes to mind as you contemplate it. During this time sin will actually be suppressed, but the desire to sin will not. Therefore, the acceptable sacrifices will be restored as Israel will finally acknowledge Christ, [Romans 11:25-27  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  26  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:  27  For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.]

Incredibly, not only will Jesus be present as KING and Prince, the Holy Spirit will be present as well as the Glory of God will fill the temple and dwell in the most holy place while the earth remains. During this time, Israel worship God with a new heart, and every detail of the temple services will be restored also, and carried out according to God’s appointment. As God leads Ezekiel out of the sanctuary, he sees a gate, but it was shut and no one could enter, but the Prince.

[Ezekiel 44:1-7  Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.  2  Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.  3  It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.  4  Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.  5  And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.  6  And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,  7  In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations.]

[It is for the prince;] Jesus is the only one with the key to heaven, the only one who can sit with God and eat bread with Him. However, we can come to Him through our faith in Him and He will let us in, and we will be able to eat bread with Him. In fact, He wants to let us in, and is knocking on the door of every heart. Jesus also has the keys to death and hell (Revelation 1:18), and if we do not open the door when He knocks, and accept Him in, we will bear the iniquity of our own sin, [Revelation 3:20-21  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  21  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.]

If you are saved and born again, rejoice, because God is always with you, do not fear, just let all the burdens, guilt, and shame go, and give it all to Him. Once you receive the Lord, Jesus Christ as your Saviour, never stop allowing Him to work in you, He is the key to all the blessings in our lives, even in the struggles. Now, during the kingdom age, Israel will also honor God with portions of land set apart for divine service, both for the Levites and a special portion for the prince. Sin offerings will be offered according to God’s appointment, again, while sin will be suppressed, the tendency to sin will not be removed until the new heaven and earth are established.

[Ezekiel 45:16-22  All the people of the land shall give this oblation for the prince in Israel.  17  And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.  18  Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:  19  And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.  20  And so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house.  21  In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.  22  And upon that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering.]

[All the people of the land shall give this oblation for the prince in Israel.] Those whom have accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as their Saviour ought to know how blessed they are, and start taking their salvation more seriously. The Church is a complete mess, and Jesus needs some able bodies to give back to Him by showing His love to the lost. If we are estranged from Christ and want to be lifted up by Him we need draw closer to Him in repentance and remind ourselves that we are reconciled with God through Christ, [II Corinthians 5:17-19  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  19  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.]

Today’s Prayer: God, We look to Your Son alone for our salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved than Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, Lead us and guide us, give us Your power to live by faith and in the power of Christ, not by our circumstances. With the aid of Your Holy Spirit dwelling in and guiding us, we will be able to overcome every situation that comes our way. I ask these thing in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
