Message: Enduring The Signs of The Great Tribulation

Hello My Friend,

It does not matter how much we as Christians understand and know about the great tribulation, Armageddon, and the resurrection, our human comprehension cannot fathom such destruction, it is literally heartbreaking, especially when we are seeing many of the signs in front of our eyes. We do not have to let all this scare us, we must live our lives while we are here, in fact, God insists on that, but while we are here it is essential that we tell everyone the Holy Spirit lays upon our heart about the Gospel of Christ, for there is no other escape from all this, but through Jesus Christ. “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” – John 3:17-18.

but he that believeth not is condemned already,” If one thinks that death is going to save them from all this, think again, imagine being awaken from a dead sleep, only to stand before Jesus Christ and face Him for judgment. As if dying were not enough, as if the soul being taken to hell were not enough, the unsaved get to resurrect only to stand before Jesus as He sentences them to eternal death, and are cast into the lake of fire, along with the devil. No one has to go through this, while we cannot avoid physical death, unless Jesus returns, we can avoid eternal death by receiving eternal life through Jesus Christ. Make no doubt about it, Christ will return, but until some things have to happen before He does, Mark and Matthew go into further detail about the great tribulation and what will take place before Christ returns.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.– Mark 13:8-13.

but he that shall endure unto the end,Many try to predict when Christ will return, even deny that He will. Look around you, watch the news, children killing their parents, parents killing their children, bothers killing brothers, massive earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fires, these are all signs that the great tribulation is coming. The only ones who will endure this are those who know Christ as their Saviour. Jesus continues, explaining what will happen during the great tribulation, and as told by Daniel too.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.– Matthew 24:15-22.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,This is what Jesus was referring to in Daniel, And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate…Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.– Daniel 9:27, Daniel 12:10-11. Keep in mind that the one speaking to Daniel and showing him these visions is Jesus Himself, notice the bold letters, the sacrifices were taken away. Jesus took away the need for sacrifices with one sacrifice, Himself, He is all that we need to be one of the elect who will not see the desolation take place. Jesus continues explaining the things that will come of Jerusalem and the entire world prior to His return, and simply states that no one will know the time, but when it does happen it will be a complete shock to the world.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.– Matthew 24:34-39.

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.A man asked a group of Atheists why they do not believe in God, these people had brightly colored hair, piercings all over them, dressed like punks, cursed, and looked like drug addicts. The majority of the people said they would believe if they saw proof. There is proof, Jesus Christ Himself. Okay, the way we look does not determine our salvation, many Christians live some pretty wild lives, but we have, but a short time on earth, eighty-ninety years, and some do not get that, we cannot life live as though once we are die it is over. I have seen Christians do some crazy things when they thought they were going to die also. We do not know what hour Christ is returning, and for that reason it is important that we as Christians live our lives in a way that shows Christ in us, and looking like the world is not the answer.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.– I Thessalonians 5:2-6.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” – Mark 13:26.

Today’s Prayer: God, There is a fine line between going completely insane or finding peace through the evil that is taking place today leading up to the great tribulation, and that is Your Son, Jesus Christ. With all the crazy things going on in the world today it is comforting knowing that Christ is my Saviour and I do not have to be here during the great tribulation, but it is also very heartbreaking to see the evil taking over and destroying everything, including life. Lord, You are my witness that a life lead by Christ is one of abundance, and while I do have to endure the sting of death that comes from sin, I know that You are my strength, my motivation, and my reason for living a life that is pleasing to You, and for that reason I will watchful and be sober for His return. I love You, and pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
