Hello My Brother/Sister/Friend,

As I was reading the chapters for today I kept thinking about all the food that I have bought in the past with the intention of eating it, but all it did was sit there until it rotted, and then it was good for nothing. If I had the time I would go shopping daily, just get what I need for the day and nothing more. Let me tell you, God, was on to something when the Israelites were in the dessert for forty years, every morning, except Saturday. He would have the manna sitting on the ground for them to gather, they were to only take what they needed for the day, nothing more and, nothing less. Then on Friday, they were to gather enough for that day and the Sabbath as they were to rest on the Sabbath. Again, God, makes things simple, we are the ones who complicate them by exhausting ourselves with dead works. Think about what Jesus said,

[Matthew 6:24-29  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.  25  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  26  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?  27  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?  28  And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:  29  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.]

King Solomon, in all his royal magnificence, while sitting on his throne of ivory and gold, sat in the beauty of his garments, which were all man made. While man made beauty is purely an art form, what comes naturally from God can never be compared to mans work as nothing is more spectacular than God’s work. I do not care what we work for, if it is not God centered, then we will exhaust ourselves for nothing. As we continue in the reading of Proverbs, this is where we find that it is Solomon speaking and those little tidbits of truth are spoken.

[Proverbs 10:1-6  The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.  2  Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.  3  The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.  4  He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.  5  He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.  6  Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.]

[but righteousness delivereth from death.] The world thinks of death as an end, but there is no end even for death. When our body gives out, and our soul is released from it it will go to one of two places, heaven or hell, then it will await judgment, which comes when Jesus returns. The righteous, meaning those who are saved, will be reunited with their new immortal bodies, to receive eternal life, [1 Corinthians 15:51-53  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.]

As for the unsaved, they too will reunite with their bodies, only they will face a second death, which eternal death in the lake of fire, [Revelation 20:13-15  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.  14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.]

[The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish:] [Famish; To kill by deprivation or denial of any thing necessary for life.] The soul of the righteous, is not the one that is arrogant, justifying their sin for the sake of their salvation. The soul of the righteous, is not the one that is full of pride, thinking they have no sin. The soul of the righteous, is the sinner who gets down on their knees every single day, thanking Jesus for saving their soul. The soul of the righteous is the one who knows that without Christ they have no life, not in this time of their life, nor the next.

[Titus 3:5-9  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  6  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;  7  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.  8  This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.  9  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.]

We must not confuse righteous judgment, which God sends upon all His children, with mans judgment. Mans judgment is cruel, often filled with hate, and has absolutely nothing to do with any suffering they faced, but actually by jealousy and envy toward those who overcame their own adversity. They want what we have, but the truth is, they know they will never have it because their lips are full of lies.

[Proverbs 10:11-14,17-19  The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.  12  Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.  13  In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.  14  Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.  17  He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.  18  He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.  19  In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.]

[He that hideth hatred with lying lips,] Oh, they may appear to be your friend, but behind your back they hate you so much that they demise of things that can do to get you to lose your testimony. We are commanded to be righteous even toward our enemies, the best thing to do is avoid them, if we cannot, then pray for them. If we attempt to handle them on our own, all we will do is become one of them, [2 Timothy 2:15-16  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  16  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.]

Those who lie, cheat, and steal their way to get the things they want are destitute of Christ, they are lazy and proud, yet want everything for doing absolutely nothing at all. Those who are diligent and walk with Christ, work hard, and I do not mean physically, I mean they make an effort to get the things they want honestly.

[Proverbs 10:24-30  The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.  25  As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.  26  As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.  27  The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.  28  The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.  29  The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.  30  The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.]

[so is the sluggard to them that send him.] Does any of this sound familiar to you? The sluggards are the ones running this country as they sit home collecting their government checks with not a care in the world, but to fulfill every lust of their flesh. I have to place orders for prescriptions for people that cost thousands of dollars a month, which the government pays for, for a majority of people who flaunt their sin in all their pride, and have no remorse whatsoever. I tell you what, we who are struggling to pay the bills are actually the ones paying for their treatments. It is quite sad to be honest because they are the ones dying in their shame.

[Proverbs 11:1-8  A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.  2  When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.  3  The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.  4  Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.  5  The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.  6  The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.  7  When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.  8  The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.]

[A false balance is abomination to the LORD:] [False; Not true; not conformable to fact; Balance; An impartial state of the mind, in deliberating; or a just estimate of the reasons and arguments on both sides of a question, which gives to each its due weight, or force and importance.] You cannot believe that Jesus will save you from hell and not believe that He is capable of taking care of everything else in your life. The Bible says, [James 1:8  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.] This includes our faith and ability to not only seek the forgiveness from God of our every sin, (yes, we do hold on to some of those sins as though God will not forgive them} but the forgiveness of others as well. If you learn anything through this message today, please understand that forgiveness in our own ability will never happen. In order for us to be able to forgive them we need to be in the grace and love of Christ. And keep in mind also, that we need to ask God to forgive them, for they really do not know what they are doing. Does this next passage of Proverbs not speak for itself?

[Proverbs 11:10-17  When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.  11  By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.  12  He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.  13  A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.  14  Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.  15  He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.  16  A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.  17  The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.]

[and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.] Do all the riots in the streets make any sense now? Let me tell you, the shouting, the hatred toward those of another color or race has nothing to do with grief, love, or compassion over a loved one that was wronged. It is over the fact that someone wicked finally got caught up with and now the rest of them want to take it out on those who never played a part in any of it. And know this also, they will all bring destruction upon themselves. Why do you think they have not ended yet? God, knows that He is doing, He is protecting His own while He is allowing them to suffer in their own evils.

[Proverbs 11:19-21,24-25  As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.  20  They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.  21  Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. 24  There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.  25  The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.]

[They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD:] [Froward; Perverse, that is, turning from, with aversion or reluctance; not willing to yield or comply with what is required.] Is it all starting to make sense now? It is an abomination to God to be reluctant or unwilling to do what is required of Him, above all is receiving Christ. God, will give us everything we need, and will provide for us though hardships and even more, but at some point we need to make an effort to come out of the hardships.

[Proverbs 11:26-31  He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.  27  He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.  28  He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.  29  He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.  30  The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.  31  Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.]

[but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.] While we are blessed to give, we are just as blessed to sell what we have. This means that not everything is free, we need to work, we need to run houses we need to run businesses, we need to get jobs, or we simply will not eat. Oh, and by the way, we may need to forgive them, but we do not need to be with them, in fact, God does not want us around them at all.

[2 Thessalonians 3:6-9  Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.  7  For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;  8  Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:  9  Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.]

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for making it simple to be saved, we just need to believe in and trust Your Son as our Saviour in order to be saved from the punishment of sin. Your mercies, grace, and forgiveness are endless for Your faithful, You promise to forgive and even forget every sin, but even that is dependent upon our being forgiving to others as well. Now, while you do not tell us to forget, You do tell us that we are forgive, and I know that forgiveness is only something that can happen through You. Lord, Lead us and guide us, forgive us where we have failed You, forgive those whom have wronged us, for they know not what they do. Give us the heart of Jesus to forgive them. Let us not become void of understanding, become as the sluggard, or be in the company of those who are. Fill us with Your mercy, grace, strength, and the power of Christ to be diligent and resting in full assurance of our faith until You bring us home. I ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
