Message: The Eternal Purpose

Hello My Friend,

As I was reading the chapters for today, new meaning came to this passage, [Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.- 1 Corinthians 10:11-13]

Remember, there are two kinds of temptation, one being to entice one to sin, the other being to put one through a test. Again, God already knows our faith, He is not the one who needs convincing that we will hold true to our faith, sometimes we need that convincing ourselves. No one who loses their faith in God can blame God or Satan for that matter, they are responsible for their own lack of faith, [Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.- James 1:12-14]

While God tempts us in a way to test our faith, although it is not Himself that He is proving that to, for He already knows our faith, Satan tempts us to fall away from our faith. Satan knows that a true believer belongs to Jesus, and that he cannot touch that soul, but that does not stop him from trying to change ones faith, which was his entire reason for afflicting Job. Sometimes it really is hard to discern as to whether or not the affliction we are facing is God testing us or Satan enticing us. As we continue in the reading of Job, we discover that the reason why Elihu was talking about the elements is because there was a tornado forming right before their eyes. That was not an ordinary storm, God was literally in that storm, and starts speaking out of the whirlwind, [Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. – Job 38:1-3]

[by words without knowledge?] Remember, they were the ones telling Job that he was speaking without knowledge? You can be sure that if you are going to say that something comes from God, you better be truthful because He will call you out. Yes, we are ignorant sometimes when it comes to discerning God’s will, and He has no problem with teaching us as that is what the Holy Spirit is for, but He will not tolerate anyone speaking on His behalf or saying that something came from Him when it clearly does not. True knowledge and wisdom comes from God as the Holy Spirit teaches it to us, [Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. – James 3:13-17]

[Gird up now thy loins like a man;] When God speaks to you directly, you know it, and He will literally tell you to get up. When I was having my Job experience, it was during a time when I lost pretty much everything I owned, and my health as well. I literally thought that I was on my deathbed, and that is when God called me out, told me to get up, and that He did not bring me here to leave like that. And this is exactly why I know that Jesus never lets His true believers go, we may dangle on the edge of that cliff, either from sin or affliction, but He never lets fall completely, and always pulls us back up at the right moment, [My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. – John 10:27-29]

So many people think they have all the answers, that they know more about God than He does, yet, professing themselves wise, they became fools. The sad thing is, people believe their words without knowledge, and while we cannot fault them because they were taught wrong, there comes a point when ignorance causes more harm than good. There are some things, in fact, many things that if we knew about them, would cringe, which is why God keeps us from knowing them. I for one, do not want to see what God sees because I would surely be condemning myself. When all we do is question God about His ways, without even making one effort to actually talk to Him about it, He is going to start asking us questions, which is what He actually did with Job.

[Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? – Job 38:4-11]

[Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:] I love this, the oceans, rivers, lakes, except for the occasional storms that cause them to overflow or wash up on the shore, they know exactly where to stop. Of course, God knew that Job did not have the answers to His questions, but He wanted him to see that some things will never be explained. Do you know who the corner stone is? Jesus. And every true believer is built upon this corner stone, [Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: – Ephesians 2:19-21]

God knew that there was no way that Job or his friends could answer any of these questions, but wanted him to see that there are some things that He will not explain, He continues with more questions about the earth, but then moves on to the most touchy subject there is, death, [Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment. And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all. – Job 38:12-18]

[that the wicked might be shaken out of it?] The dayspring is the dawn, the beginning of the day, or first appearance of light. God asks if he could command the wicked to be removed from earth, then proceeds to let him know with another question that He is that He is the one with the key to death, and hell, [I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. – Revelation 1:18]

The mighty hand of God truly is seen in the elements, and in fact, in all natural evils, even such as viruses as Covid. My instructor told us that her getting Covid saved her life, she was unaware of a heart defect that she carried around with her from birth, it was only when she had some chest x-ray’s done that it was discovered and she was able to get the surgery she needed to survive, and she thanked God for that. God actually uses all of these things for a purpose. God continues with more questions about the earth and its elements, [Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? – Job 38:22-27]

[Which I have reserved against the time of trouble,] God is beginning to answer His own questions. Believe it or not, natural evils are not just used by God for judgments, they are also used for protecting His people. Science does not really want to find the answers to these questions. Of course, natural science is awesome for finding cures for a viruses, and diseases, we all want Covid to just disappear, but it continues to hang around. Let me tell you, most viruses are created by man, often from lack of cleanliness, but most of it comes by their trying to play God. Covid was started in a lab! It is ridiculous what all these scientists come up with to try and imitate God. And He will not even reveal Himself to any fool who tries to imitate Him, [Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.- Romans 1:22-25]

And speaking of God’s creatures, there are some very fascinating and strange creatures that He created, every one of them designed for a purpose and has a place in this world. Science would like you to believe that all animals evolved over time and that they have developed or went out of existence because they were weaker than some. There are some instances where these things are true, for instance animals learn to adapt to their environment as do people, but they in no way change their form into another specie. God goes on to talk about His creatures, how he designed everyone of them, and what little man knows about His creation.

[Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve? Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth? They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows. Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them. – Job 39:1-4]

[Canst thou number the months that they fulfil?] God throws in some questions that they may be able to answer, like the gestation of deer being about seven months, but to understand why they take off after they are weaned, never to return to their mother, that is something that God designed them to do. Now, God brings up an animal that is of a great debate, the unicorn, [Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn? – Job 39:9-12]

[Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band] I was actually led, thanks to the Webster’s dictionary, that the unicorn is a rhinoceros, but as God describes it, there is no indication that it is a horse with a horn in the middle of its forehead. The King James Bible dictionary describes it as a wild bull (from its conspicuousness), based on other passages describe it with having more than one horn, [And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh. – Deuteronomy 33:16-17]

It is ridiculous what all these scientists come up with to try and figure out how God created everything. God will never reveal such information because He knows they will distort it even more than they already have. God goes on to describe birds that He created, [Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. – Job 39:13-18]

[she scorneth the horse and his rider.] Animals do what they do naturally the way God designed them, the peacock, so beautiful when he struts and shows off his feathers with such pride, and the ostrich, what a strange creature indeed. Yet all of these creatures are an example of God’s design and only He has a purpose for what He makes. When we realize just how mighty God is, and how every creature, including man, has a purpose, there is no denying that without Christ, we have no purpose, [Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: – Ephesians 3:8-11]

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for giving me life, and the life You have given me. I am alive, I have Your Son in my soul, I no longer need to worry about tomorrow because wherever I go I know I will see Your Son one day. Life has many questions, and I wish I did have the answers to them all, but it is comforting to know that You have a purpose, and that I am Your purpose. I do not have to have all the answers, my faith in You will carry me through. Lord, I know my faith is not always high, that I let things get to me, and often question them instead of trust You to help me through. Lead me and guide me, let the times when my faith is small keep going so that it might strengthen as I endure each affliction with You. And let me not get caught up in asking You why You are allowing something rather ask You to help me through it. I love you and ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
