Message: Worthy To Obtain That World

Hello My Friend,

It does not matter how many times you read through the Gospels, to hear Jesus speak of what is coming before and after He returns always brings tears in your eyes and shivers down your spine, at least, mine any way. Thank God, I know where I am going and will not have to witness any of it, (or think I will not) and I pray to God that none of my nephews have to suffer through it, but that does not mean that I do not feel any sorrow about what is coming to the world. We may not know the hour that Jesus will return, but we are one day closer, and the Scriptures are definitely lining up. In fact, we are just one election away from a one world government and religion, some have already aligned themselves as one. And let me tell you, if there is any time that Christians need to sober up, it is now, [Luke 21:34-36  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.  35  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.  36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.]

I have been having a devil of a time with my writing software, I updated it and everytime I pushed save it would freeze up on me. I had to spend an hour uninstalling it and reinstalling the previous version, praise God, it is working now. And you know something, my work computer had an update too with the software used for answering calls, it just shut down right in the middle of a call. All of this is actually a good reminder that we should only be reading a King James Bible because every time a new “version” comes out it literally ruins the integrity of the Bible and destroys lost souls opportunity to get saved. Now, as we continue in the reading of the Gospels. Luke also gives an account to the parable that Jesus had spoken about the lord of the vineyard. Watch how Luke describes their reaction when Jesus said the that vineyard would be taken from them.

[Luke 20:13-18  Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.  14  But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.  15  So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?  16  He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.  17  And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?  18  Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.]

[God forbid.] Do not think that they did not know that Jesus was not talking about them. The Jews as well as all these religious cults (that us what I am going to start calling them), all have it in their heads that God would never send theme to hell. Well, they are going in a huge shock when they see Jesus, and no amount of kneeling and begging will change their fate. I am sure that all these fools that started these cults are in hell right now, begging for someone to tell those living that are dead in the flesh that they were all wrong. And speaking of dead in the flesh, Luke also gives an account to the conversation that Jesus had with the Sadducees regarding the resurrection. Notice how Luke words it.

[Luke 20:34-38  And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:  35  But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:  36  Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.  37  Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.  38  For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.]

[worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection] That world, meaning the new earth that will miraculously come down from the heavens, the world is what God had intended for this one to be. Only those whom have received Christ as their Saviour are will obtain that world and the resurrection, [Revelation 21:2-4  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.]

[even Moses shewed at the bush,] What exactly did Moses show at the bush? It was actually the bush that Jesus was talking about that shows Moses that God is the God of the living, [Exodus 3:2-6  And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.  3  And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.  4  And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.  5  And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.  6  Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.]

None of us are truly worthy to receive eternal life at all, but because we believe in the entire Gospel of Christ, and accept that He alone is all that is necessary to be saved, God grants us that gift. Our souls live only due to the fact that Christ lives in us through our faith in Him alone. We are the children of the living God, our father is also the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, [Galatians 3:6-9  Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.  7  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.  8  And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.  9  So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.]

The scribes and Pharisee’s may not have understood the parables Jesus spoke, but they did understand that He was speaking about them. From that moment they sought every opportunity they could to catch Jesus say or do something that they could accuse Him of and have Him killed. These fools actually thought that they were the ones who were righteous and just. Religious cults do not want to believe that God will not accept anyone who does not fully believe in Christ as their Saviour. They can be born and raised in a church, believing in and serving God, even be taught about Christ, but God will not accept them. Jesus actually points this out, as He is watching the rich men casting money into the offertory, and one little old widow woman.

[Luke 21:1-8  And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.  2  And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.  3  And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:  4  For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.  5  And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,  6  As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.  7  And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?  8  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.]

[for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;] Now, why did Jesus felt the need to say this to them at that time? Jesus was referring to the Jews constant disbelief that Jesus is the Messiah, many would come with their false prophesies, making use of His name, not that they would pretend they were sent by Him, but that they were Him. The temple was thrown down forty years later as Jesus prophesied, Jerusalem was taken by the Roman armies, under the command of Titus in 70 AD. Today, the temple is surrounded by a wall that the Muslims built around it, and no one can get in it. There are so many churches and temples, adorned with stained glass windows, altars made of jewels and gold, but they too will be destroyed and thrown down. These men did not know one thing that Jesus was talking about, yet wanted signs to know when it will all come to pass. Well, Jesus does not even know the time, but He does describe how it will be before He returns.

[Luke 21:10-15  Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:  11  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.  12  But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.  13  And it shall turn to you for a testimony.  14  Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:  15  For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.]

[And it shall turn to you for a testimony.] We, who are worthy to obtain that world and the resurrection, will face many sorrows as we watch our nations and families turn against each other. Nevertheless, we will be a testimony of our faith in Christ alone! And not one hair on our heads will die, [Luke 21:16-19  And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.  17  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.  18  But there shall not an hair of your head perish.  19  In your patience possess ye your souls.]

[In your patience possess ye your souls.] Yes, in due time, after we have endured the pain and sorrow that comes through this life, all due to the curse of sin that was passed down to us. And we will see the promise the second that we see the Saviour coming down in a cloud, [Luke 21:25-28  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;  26  Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.]

[for your redemption draweth nigh.] We all want to know when Jesus will return, even He does not know as God, the Father, has blocked that knowledge from Him right now. The second God gives the word, that is when Jesus will return. Even if our bodies are lying in the grave we will not see any of the destruction, in fact, those whom have died and are in heaven right now will resurrect first and be brought up into the heavens so they do not have to see the world come to an end, [1 Thessalonians 4:16-17  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.]. Praise God!

Let Us Pray: Jesus, You have told us the signs that will lead to Your return, how we can be prepared and ready for Your return, and have already fulfilled Your promise to make redemption possible and permanent for all who believe in and receive You as their Saviour. Thank You, for dying on the cross for me, even as the mess I am, You redeemed me through my faith alone in You. Thank You for teaching me and preparing me for Your return, and for your endless mercies and grace as I fail You daily. Even at my best, I do sometimes take for granted what You have done for me, and for that I am sorry. Thank You for Your longsuffering, and still using me, despite my mishaps, and for reminding me that one day all of this will be over, and I will be with You forever. I love You, and pray this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
