Message: This Is The Will Of God

Hello My Friend,

Over the years as a Christian I have come to realize something, God does not care what others are doing, He cares what I am doing, He does not care what others think, He cares what I think. What God has planned for my life is not what He has planned for yours, some things He allows you to have, but does not want me to have, some things He allows you to do, but does not allow me to do. Just like there are no two thumbprints alike, there are no two people alike, therefore, God does not treat two people alike. Yes, there is only one way to salvation, and yes, the basic rules still apply, but God has His own will for each and every one of us, [John 6:38-40  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.  39  And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.  40  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.]

[and I will raise him up at the last day.] God’s will for us truly is amazing, and really much better than we could ever hope for in our own. We do not realize it, but the world has the same kind of trials and tribulations that we have, but we have the favor of God upon us, and that makes all the difference in the world. One day all of our trials and tribulations will be over, and even if we die before Jesus returns, we will live not only will our souls be I heaven, our bodies will resurrect, just like Jesus did. Of all the billions of people who come and go over the centuries, very few will get eternal life, and we are blessed to be chosen for our faith in Him alone.

[Psalms 65:4-9,13  Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.  5  By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:  6  Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:  7  Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.  8  They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.  9  Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. 13  The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.]

[thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God,] God is so merciful that He sends the rain upon the just and the unjust, meaning, He provides for each and every soul, for a time, so that we might all come to the knowledge of Christ. There is not one person in hell that has not seen the Saviour and wishing they believed in Him while they were still alive. It does not matter how good we are as a person of morals and integrity, we must believe on Christ before we take our last breath or there is no salvation, [Revelation 21:7-8  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.]

Since we belong to Jesus we can expect that His will for us is not to just get saved and continue living our lives as we please. Jesus gave His life for us, while we are not obligated to do anything, we do owe Him some gratitude for taking the punishment that we would be taking. So many people make the mistake of thinking that once they get saved all of their troubles will disappear. Well, God promises eternal life after we endure the pain of this life, He did not promise that all of our troubles will disappear. In fact, we would have less troubles if we listened to God in the first place when He tells us that we need to stay away from something.

[Psalms 66:7-12,16-20  He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.  8  O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:  9  Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.  10  For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.  11  Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.  12  Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. 16  Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.  17  I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.  18  If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:  19  But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.  20  Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.]

[and suffereth not our feet to be moved.] Those who truly, with all their heart, have trusted Jesus to save their souls will not be moved away from Him when affliction comes. Let me tell you, life is a matter of feast or famine of everything, including affliction. Since this pandemic, I have seen God bless me with so much more than He ever has. I knew sooner or later it would come, and here I am dealing with what seems to be a feast of afflictions, and as soon as God gets one thing under control here comes another. I have screamed out at the devil a couple of times, but I have not screamed out at God, because I know some of it is of my own doing, but all of it in the will of God. This whole nation is under a feast of afflictions and what God is doing through it all is as Jesus puts it, dividing His sheep from the goats, [Matthew 25:31-34  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:  32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  33  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:]

Of course, we do have some time before Jesus returns, but He is already starting to divide us up as you can see by so many denouncing their faith. When we can praise God through the affliction, the battle is half over, [Psalms 67:3-7  Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.  4  O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.  5  Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.  6  Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.  7  God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.]

[and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.] Sooner or later all will know who Jesus is, and sadly, they will fear Him when it is too late. If you ever wondered why Christians face persecution so much, it is this, God proves us. Why? To polish us up, make us shine, and turn us into a reflection of His Son. No, God does not make us work for our salvation, but He does place affliction in our lives to keep us on our toes so we stay out of trouble. I swear I feel like I fight with God every day, I find myself arguing with Him over and over again on the same matters, which He has already has told me to trust Him with. Which is why I need to praise Him every day. We can do more than praise Him and just accept the affliction, we can ask for Him to help us, which is the point.

[Psalms 69:1-3,6-7,13-17  To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.  2  I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.  3  I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. 6  Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.  7  Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. 13  But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.  14  Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.  15  Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.  16  Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.  17  And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.]

[in an acceptable time:] Everything that we go through, even before we got saved, has already been appointed to us by God Himself. And He also knew every single thing that would befall us, and has yet to come, and is still faithful. And the pain, it will not last, there is always an expected end, [Jeremiah 29:11-13  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  12  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.]

Yes, we do have to call upon the LORD, not just for our salvation, but for everything. He wants to be with us through it all, and He wants to help us, even if we are the cause of our pain. Even faithful Christians lose sight of God, not in that they lose their faith in Him, they just let the affliction take over and become blinded to the fact that He is still with us. We look to everyone and everything, but Jesus, when He definitely is the only one who can see us through and give us that expected end.

[Psalms 69:20,29-32,35-36  Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.  29  But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.  30  I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.  31  This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.  32  The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. 35  For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.  36  The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.]

[This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock] You see, since sin comes naturally to us, God never expected us to be sin free, which is why He came up with the plan of atonement. He never intended for any soul to end up in hell, that was meant for Satan alone and his minions, but God is a just God and therefore, sin comes with the hefty price of death and hell. When we humble ourselves, and admit we are sinners, that is half the battle, then when we accept Christ, who made atonement permanent by paying that hefty price for us, we have won it. We will have the victory! [I Corinthians 15:55-57  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  56  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.]

No matter what affliction we face in this time of our life, as saved, born again Christians we must remember one thing, we belong to Christ. Even if we were to die today, we still have the victory, people may mock us for having put our faith in Christ, but they are the ones who will be sorry when they face Jesus Himself. Whenever we get to the point that the affliction is going to overtake us, we need to remember that God is in control, and our faith in Him is all He needs to deliver us.

[Psalms 70:1-5  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.  2  Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.  3  Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.  4  Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.  5  But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.]

[O God: thou art my help and my deliverer;] Affliction can come at any time, and it can stop us in our tracks. Some affliction just scares us a little bit, while other times it is a down right nightmare. No matter what, Christ will deliver us, as long as we have received Him as our Saviour. We cannot eliminate affliction, but we can keep reminding ourselves that God has a plan and His will for our lives has much more impact than anything in our own, and after He has tried us, we shall come for as gold, [Job 23:8-10  Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:  9  On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:  10  But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Psalms 69:21  They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.]

Today’s Prayer: God, I will admit that I am not always thankful to You for all that You have brought me through, and spend a lot of time fighting with You, even though I know exactly what is going on. You do not care what others are doing, You care what I am doing, and will not allow me to take on what I cannot handle. Sometimes what You do allow me to handle seems unbearable, but I know that You are my strength. Thank You for loving and caring for me, I see Your hand, You taking care of me, providing for me, protecting me, and while I know I fight with You, You know my heart, and You do know what I can handle, and all I can do is wait on You, and praise You while I do. Lord, You put me through the fire, and I know will come forth as gold. I ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
