Message: God Never Forgets, But One Thing

Hello My Friend,

With this pandemic in full force, or rather the fear of it, governors and mayors are enforcing such harsh laws that businesses are being forced to shut down, even churches. People are falling into a deeper oppression as they are losing their incomes, livelihoods, and even the ability to worship God. And yes, we can worship God anywhere, but church is just as essential as food and water, it is the very thing that is essential to our spirit. Well, it may seem as though they are getting away with all this, but God is watching, He sees what these reprobates are doing to His people, and they will not get away with it. He will get vengeance, [Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.]

[For these be the days of vengeance,] While Jesus is talking about the tribulation here, God does not wait until this is going to take place before He gets vengeance, in fact, when He wants vengeance, He gets it, in His time of course. The Egyptians prided themselves of their gods and magicians, they knew very well that God was among the Hebrews they despised and oppressed, but was not about to give up their gods for anything. Well, God never forgot what they did to His people, and all the babies they killed. It may have taken forty years, and the people responsible for enforcing such cruel laws were gone, but vengeance was His, and they were surely going to know once and for all that there is only one God, and He is alive and lives among His people. God was about the send ten plagues, each one representing something they looked to as a god and or worshiped.

[Exodus 7:1-5 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.]

[And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart,] Okay, there is something we need to understand, God will use reprobates for two reasons, to bring the fear of God on those who are not saved so they can find Christ, and get saved. The second is to bring judgment upon a nation that oppresses His people and keeps them from being able to worship Him. Keep in mind that God does use them to judge His people also should they forget who they start to worship these false gods, which is every religion that goes against His Word, [I Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?]

God’s judgments upon His people are not grievous, but they do bring us to light that we need to trust God at all times, and be repentant when we mess up. As for His judgments upon the world, He never forgets that they choose their man made gods over Him. You know, while the Hebrews were in Egypt, they respected them and worked hard and could have easily taken them over since Joseph was as close as a king as you could get. And what did they get? Harsh oppression and their babies taken from them. Now, it was time for God to get His vengeance upon them. God was going to send ten plagues to prove to the Egyptians and Hebrews that He is the LORD, the first plague was turning water into blood. Not just any water, the Nile River, it was idolized by the Egyptians who used and worshiped under various names and symbols. By the command of God, Moses took his rod, touched the water, and it turned into blood. God never forgot that they had stained the river with the blood of the Hebrews’ children, and now it was blood, as was every pond, brook, and every body of water.

[Exodus 7:14-17,20-21,25 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh’s heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go. Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river’s brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand. And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. And seven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had smitten the river.]

[And seven days were fulfilled,] For seven days, the Egyptians, frantically sought relief against the plague, digging round the river for water to drink, but found none. God remembering His mercy in the midst of His wrath, ended the plague after one week, maybe some of the Egyptians would turn to Him. This is a great reminder of why God has not sent His Son just yet, while He will send plagues to get people to find Christ through them, He is merciful that He gives all the opportunity to come to Him first, [John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.]

Of course, nothing changed after He restored the waters, God sent Moses back to Pharaoh, this times, He would plague the country with frogs. Why frogs? They worshiped a female god that had a frog’s head, and the frog was connected with the most ancient forms of nature-worship in Egypt.

[Exodus 8:5-8,12-15 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt. And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt. And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD. And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh. And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields. And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank. But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.]

[And the LORD did according to the word of Moses;] Notice that the very waters that He restored is where the frogs came from, and they were everywhere, even in their beds. God also did not stop the plague until Moses prayed for them. Of course, the land was full of dead frogs and that angered him so he refused to let Israel go. And that brought on the third plague, lice. [Exodus 8:16-19 And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt. And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast. Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.]

[and smote the dust of the earth,] Dust or the soil, is what they called the father of the gods, it had a special sacredness attached it as the black fertile soil that came from the basin of the Nile, called Chemi. [This is the finger of God:] You see, while Satan is capable of using God’s creation, and attempt to recreate it from life, he cannot create something living from absolutely nothing. Even the magicians, who had the finger of Satan, knew that this was God, this actually hardened his heart even more. Which brought on the fourth plague, flies.

[Exodus 8:20-24 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are. And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth. And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be. And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.]

[and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies,] The swarms actually included mosquitoes, beetles, and other flying insects as well. The Egyptians worshiped the beetle as a symbol of reproductive or creative power. The sun-god, as creator, named Chepera, is represented with the head, of a beetle. Do you see why God was using all these things? They not made a mockery out of His creation by creating images of man and creature combined, and worshiped them as gods. [And I will put a division between my people and thy people:] The land of Goshen was the city where the Hebrews dwelt, He would keep every plague from effecting them. Perhaps the thing that bothered Pharaoh most was that the plagues did not touch the Hebrews. There does come a time when God will tire of the warnings of repentance to every hardened heart, and will give them up to their reprobate minds. First, God’s plagues went after the gods they worshiped, now, He was going after their livelihood, first with their livestock, and then their bodies.

[Exodus 9:3,6,8-12 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain. And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one. And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh. And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt. And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast. And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.]

[And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils;] Did you ever have a boil? They truly are something awful, and quite painful. Now, imagine your body covered in them. This is proof that the devil has no power on God, even he has to submit to His authority. [James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.] Now, some of the Egyptians are getting pretty tired of all this, and I imagine many of them were telling the Pharaoh to let them go. So, when the seventh plague was announced, hail, many of them listened and took cover.

[Exodus 9:14-15,18-20,24-26 For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth. For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth. Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now. Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses: So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field. Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.]

[For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart,] First, He went after their gods, then He went after their livelihood, now, He was going after their heart. [where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.] Did you ever see it raining on one side of a street and clear on the other? Well, this is what it looked like. You know, God never forgets, He will save and protect His people from the plagues of the earth. Yes, sometimes He does bring some home to Him because that is how He is protecting them, but He never forgets who His people are, and they are those whom have accepted His Son as their Saviour. There is only one thing that God does forget, and that is our sin the second we accept Christ as our Saviour, [Psalms 103:12-13 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Exodus 7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.]

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for bringing me up in a home that believed in You, we may have had the wrong doctrine, but by Your grace, You showed us the truth about Your Son, and now we have all been saved and are now one of Your people. And thank You for Your hedge of protection around me that keeps me out of the way of Your judgments upon the world. It is only when I trust in You with all my heart that I realize that Your hand has been with me, guiding me the whole time. When affliction comes, instead of being doubtful, I will pray to You with utmost confidence, instead of being afraid, I will be courageous in You, instead of being weak, I will be strong in You. I will not resort to my own understanding, but trust that Your hand is in it, and You will bring me through it. Lord, lead me and guide me, keep my heart tender, and always on You, and as Your never forget Your promise, I will never forget it either. I ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
