Message: God’s Most Precious

Hello My Friend,

Happy 2021! I told God this morning that it is time for me to step up and start taking care of my ministry all little bit better than I did in 2020. I am going to make a few changes to the format of the devotionals, and have decided to start each message with words from Jesus since the entire book is centered around Him.

[Mark 9:23b  If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.]

[Believe; To credit upon the authority or testimony of another; to be persuaded of the truth of something upon the declaration of another.] While we do not need the Bible for us to believe that God is and always has been, God decided to give us His Word so that we can know Him, and be able to have a relationship with Him. Keep in mind that the Bible was not written for unbelievers, it is solely given to the believers so that we who do want Him in our lives have the understanding that we need to be able to do that, [II Timothy 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:].

The Book of Genesis, also known as the book of origins (first existence), and was penned by Moses approximately between 1445-1405BC. The timeline for these events took place approximately between 4004-1406 BC. The purpose of the book was to preserve the historical background of Israel and record the beginning of creation, sin, redemption, and how God deals with man. What we are to learn from the book is that God is the Creator of all things, and His plan from the beginning included all living beings to be their God alone. Genesis begins by giving us an account to creation, and it all began with the heaven and earth.

[Genesis 1:1-5  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.  5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.]

[In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.] A lot of people, including Bible scholars want to say that this was the gap that took billions of years for life to form upon the earth, but the key to understanding that this is literally six twenty-four hour days is right here, [And God called the light Day,] The capital D in Day as well as the N in Night signifies that this was a complete day. [And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.] I always stop to think about what God did before He created our heavens and earth, and wonder if He had some other universe and creatures that He created prior to this. Well, it is not for us to know everything that God does, but Jesus did say this, [John 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.]

If we are going to believe in God we must go beyond just believing that God exists, we must believe in what His Word tells us, and worship in the spirit that He is. And now, we come to day two, [Genesis 1:6-8  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.  7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.  8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.]

[Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters,] Firmament means arch, it is the region of the air or atmosphere of the sky or heavens. This is actually how those in hell are able to see those in heaven, but not able to get to it, [Luke 16:26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.]

I really thought that I would just breeze through this study today, but I guess God had other plans as He is directing me to detail each day, and now we come to day three, this is when God starts creating life on earth. [Genesis 1:9,11-13  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.  11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.  12  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.  13  And the evening and the morning were the third day.]

[after his kind:] Remember, it does not matter what form of life it is, God created everything from the grass to the grapefruit after its own kind, meaning specie. Yes, God did enable man to take the seed of an orange and work it together with a grapefruit to develop another kind of citrus fruit, but you cannot work together an orange seed with an apple seed as they are not of the same specie of fruit. Do you see how corn was first created, and does not have to genetically modified to be produced? Since the fall of man corn kernels must physically be planted and actually die in order for it to be produced, [John 12:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.]

Now, we come to day four, [Genesis 1:14-16,19  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:  15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.  16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 19  And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.]

[and let them be for signs,] This is of course, the sun and moon. All of our seasons are determined by the revolutions of the sun and moon, and how many times they go around in a year. This is why we have a leap year every four years. Did you hear how these idiotic scientists, including mad scientist, Bill Gates, are attempting to dim the sun? Those who refuse to believe in God are such fools, they have no sense to know that you cannot mess with what God created. Only God can create something so precise that the sun is placed just right so that the earth would not burn or freeze up. It is just like the Bible says, [Romans 1:22-23  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  23  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.]

Now, we come to day five, the first living things on earth were plants and trees, [Genesis 1:20-21,23  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.  21  And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.  23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.]

[the moving creature that hath life,] Do you see how God created everything precisely in the time that He did? He made sure that every living thing could be maintained and survive. We definitely could survive without chicken and turkey, but we would not if we have no water or plants to sustain us, and neither would they. And now we come to day six, this is when He creates cattle and finally man.

[Genesis 1:24,26-28,31  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.  26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 31  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.]

[Let us make man in our image,] Do you see why God sees man as His most precious creation? He created us in His very own image. And noting that God says, “Our” image here, He is signifying that He is one, in the form of the Father, Son, and Spirit, [I John 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.]

So, while God’s Spirit moved upon the waters in this great big universe that He created for billions of years, and who knows what else He created before then, we are He greatest creation. I imagine that it both grieves and angers God greatly the way so many people disregard life. In fact, they are more concerned about killing animals than they are about killing babies and children. The greatest invention that man did come up with was the ultrasound as it enabled man to see life growing inside of the womb, but sadly, man is selfish and does everything they can to destroy God’s testimony. Nevertheless, everything was created in six twenty-four hour days, period. In Chapter two, God goes on to explain just how and what He created man out of.

[Genesis 2:4-8  These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,  5  And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.  6  But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.  7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  8  And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.]

[and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;] I love this and cry every time I read it, God took a lifeless human being and breathed His breath into him, and gave him life. Do you know how many people walk on this earth, and even though they are walking, talking, and breathing, they have no life in them? They wander around, trying to find anything that will make them feel alive. Well, it is Jesus who breathes that life into our souls, and you will know when His Spirit is living inside of you, you actually feel alive, [I John 5:10  He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.]

Adam means, red earth. In other words, Adam was named from what God had created him from, the sand or dust. In fact, everything that He created was made from the earth that He created first. God gave Adam (man) everything he needed to live eternally on the earth, but He had one rule that He gave Adam, even before He created Eve for Him that must be followed. [Genesis 2:9,15-18  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 15  And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.  16  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.  18  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.]

[for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.] Obviously Adam did not know what death meant, he was a baby at this point, and only had God to teach him things. When we first come to the knowledge of God, we are like everyone else, eager for His attention, a bit scared because we are taught that if we disobey Him we will die, but until we truly understand what that death is we are ignorant to it. Of everything that God created nothing is more precious to Him than man, no matter how many times we fail Him, He never gives up on us, in fact, He loves us, and that is exactly why the devil despises us, [Psalms 139:15-17  My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  16  Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.  17  How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Genesis 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.]

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for another year passed, a new one beginning, for the hope of eternal life and giving us Your truths to live by. Without You all is dark and void, but with You we can see the Light and a great year ahead. Lord, watch over us, guide us, and help us walk forward in Your Light throughout 2020, give us peace, comfort, and hope for a great, blessed, and prosperous year. Remind us how fortunate we are as this world grows more evil by the day, and never let us forget that while it is appointed for us to die once, we will be raised just as Your Son for our faith in Him. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I started a Facebook group titled, I’m Following Jesus, it is a place that we can come together as one for fellowship, encouragement, and prayer. With everything getting so crazy, we need a place that we can come together and be a family, for we are family. So, if you have Facebook, please join us.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
