Message: Mighty Hand of Jesus

Hello My Friend,

[Charles Spurgeon said, Believer, here is encouragement. Art thou praying for some beloved one? Oh, give not up thy prayers, for Christ is “mighty to save.” You are powerless to reclaim the rebel, but your Lord is Almighty. Lay hold on that mighty arm, and rouse it to put forth its strength. Does your own case trouble you? Fear not, for his strength is sufficient for you. Whether to begin with others, or to carry on the work in you, Jesus is “mighty to save;” the best proof of which lies in the fact that he has saved you.]

What mighty words we could all use right now. For years I had the assurance and comfort of knowing that everyone in my immediate family are saved. Now, I am placed in a position where I am praying for several people that have come into my life for God would open their hearts, and they would get saved. I cannot save anyone myself, you cannot save anyone, but Christ, He is mighty to save! [John 10:9  I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.]

[Mighty; Great; wonderful; performed with great power; Having great bodily strength or physical power; very strong or vigorous.] How mighty is Jesus, that all He has to do is speak, and the winds and seas do obey Him? How mighty is He, that all He has to do is speak, and the dead become alive? How mighty is He that when He was on the cross, all He spoke was, “It is finished”, to end the curse of death for every soul who believes in Him? He is LORD, God Almighty, and He is mighty indeed! All He does is speak and, IT IS DONE. Now, we are coming to the end of the Book of Job, Elihu was scolding Job and while he was speaking something was going on, a storm, which was probably why he talked about the mighty power of God controlling the weather. In the midst of this storm a tornado appears and out of it comes the voice of God.

[Job 38:1-7  Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,  2  Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?  3  Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.  4  Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.  5  Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?  6  Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;  7  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?]

[or who laid the corner stone thereof;] [Cornerstone: The stone which lies at the corner of two walls and unites them; the principal stone, and especially the stone which forms the corner of the foundation of a building.] Jesus truly is the Cornerstone, mighty to unite a soul bound for hell through their faith in Him, becoming joint heirs with Him, who by the way are the sons of God (Daughters included). He is the foundation, upon which every saved soul stands, without Him, we are standing on sinking sand, [I Corinthians 3:11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.]

The mighty hand of God truly is seen in the elements, and in fact, in all of what are called natural evils, such as viruses. God actually uses all of these things for a purpose. God knew that there was no way that Job or his friends could answer any of these questions, but wanted him to see that there are some things that He will not explain, He continues with more questions about the earth and its elements.

[Job 38:22-27,36  Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,  23  Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?  24  By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?  25  Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;  26  To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;  27  To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? 36  Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?]

[Which I have reserved against the time of trouble,] God is beginning to answer His own questions. Believe it or not, natural evils are used by God for judgments, and even for protecting His people. Science does not really want to find the answers to these questions. Of course, natural science is awesome for finding cures for a viruses, we all want Covid to just disappear. Let me tell you, viruses are created by man, often it has to do with lack of cleanliness, but most of it comes by their trying to play God. Covid was started in a lab! It is ridiculous what all these scientists come up with to try and imitate God. He will not even reveal Himself to any fool who tries to imitate Him, [Romans 1:22-25  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  23  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.]

And speaking of God’s creatures, there are some very fascinating and strange creatures that He created, every one of them designed for a purpose and has a place in this world. Science would like you to believe that all animals evolved over time and that they have developed or went out of existence because they were weaker than some. There are some instances where these things are true, for instance animals learn to adapt to their environment and so do people, but they in no way change their form into another specie. God goes on to talk about His creatures, how he designed everyone of them, and what little man knows about His creation.

[Job 39:13-18,26-30  Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?  14  Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,  15  And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.  16  She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;  17  Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.  18  What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. 26  Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?  27  Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?  28  She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.  29  From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.  30  Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.]

[Because God hath deprived her of wisdom,] Animals do what they do naturally the way God designed them, the peacock, so beautiful when he struts and shows off his feathers with such pride, and the ostrich, what a strange creature indeed. Yet all of these creatures are an example of God’s design and only He has a purpose for what He makes. When we realize just how mighty God is, and how every creature, including man, has a purpose, there is no denying that without Christ, there is no purpose, [Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.]

[Her young ones also suck up blood:] As I said earlier, Jesus does not have to lift one finger to show Himself mighty, in fact, His voice is His power. One day, Jesus will return and when He does, all He is going to do is speak, [Revelation 19:11-21]. Blood is our lifeline, Jesus is mighty, one drop of His blood upon our soul gives us eternal life. Without Jesus we will not survive, [John 6:53-54  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.  54  Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.]

Jesus Christ Magnified: [Job 38:6  Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;]

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for giving me life, and the life You have given me. You are so mighty! I am alive, I have Your Son in my soul, I no longer need to worry about tomorrow because wherever I go I know I have You. Life has many questions, and I wish I did have the answers to them all, but it is comforting to know that I do not have to have them, my faith in You will carry me through. Lord, I know my faith is not always strong, and I often question You instead of trust You to help me through. Lead me and guide me, let my mustard seed faith keep going so that I can see You move mountains. And let me not get caught up in asking You why You are allowing something rather ask You to help me through it. I love you and ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
