Hello My Friend,

If there is one thing to learn, I mean, I have learned it, through this mess of a year, it is that nothing in this life is certain, life is precious, and even though I mess up daily, and fail God daily, He never backs out on His promise to give me eternal life through my believing and receiving His Son as my Saviour. Amen! God never promised that we would suffer no more once we got saved, or even that we will not have to deal with sin, He did promise that He would never leave nor forsake us, and give us the means to endure it all through our faith. One day we will suffer no more, but until that day we who live by faith have work to do, preach the Gospel before we are no longer able to do that, [2 Timothy 2:11-13 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.]

The Book of II Timothy was written by Paul to Timothy in approximately 66AD, which he wrote from prison, with the expectation that he would soon be executed. The purpose of the letter was to encourage Timothy to assume the responsibility of the ministry which the apostle was handing over to him. What we are to learn from the book is that each person who lives for Christ will suffer persecution, but Christ gives them the power to endure and be a witness for Him without fear. Paul wrote this letter to Timothy about a year after he had given him instructions on how to get the church at Ephesus in order. He praises Timothy for being a godly leader, and encourages him not to fear what is happening to him.

[2 Timothy 1:6-12 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: 11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.]

[he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.] Do you realize that once Jesus returns we will not be able to preach the Gospel? We will be ministers with Him and actually serve Him, but we will not be preaching the Gospel to anyone. This is what Jesus talks about when the door will be shut, [Luke 13:24-27 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.]

[Lord, Lord, open unto us;] All these foolish religions that are leading their followers straight to hell are all going to be in a shock when they face Jesus and are cast into hell themselves, many of them already are. It is quite sad really, so many people are led astray, and we can question why, but the truth is, they believed the lies. It is like this stupid election and all the restrictions due to Covid, which by the way are all exaggerated just so they can keep people living in fear and looking to the corrupt government for help. The time is not for Christians to hide in fear or refrain from speaking, we must stand out and speak out loudly and boldly about Christ while we are still able to do that. Why? There really are some people out there who want to know the truth, and we are the only ones able to tell them the truth. We may fail God, but we are faithful and that is what He needs.

[2 Timothy 2:1-5,8-10 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: 9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.]

[that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.] This is why we cannot remain silent, this is why we must speak out and preach the Gospel to everyone that the Holy Spirit leads us to. In case you have not noticed, things are getting worse by the day, and if there is anything to what we have been hearing all year long it is that we are in uncertain times. I know we all have hopes that next year will be better, and those of you who voted or support Joe Biden are depending on him to keep the peace and bail you out of the struggles you are facing, but it is not going to happen. I am not being a pessimist here, but we are in perilous times all need to wake up to the realization that our country is losing the very foundation that has kept it from crumbling since we became the United States of America, and that is God. If Paul saw this way back in his day, can you imagine how close we are today of Christ returning. Does any of this sound familiar to you?

[2 Timothy 3:1-7,14-15 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.]

[Having a form of godliness,] Oh, they look good on the outside, they are for equality, diversity, unity, that is unless you are a faithful Christian, or someone who does not agree with what they see as right. It all comes down to this, [Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.] Fools they are, professing themselves wise, they disregard the truth, believing the lies. And this is exactly why we have millions of people out of work, living in fear, believing these fools who keep telling us that they are the only ones who can save us from the evil Covid monster, and begging for that wonderful six hundred dollars they want to give Americans while they send billions of dollars to countries that can care less about their own people let alone Americans, [Romans 1:22-25 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.]

Yes, I am angry, I am frustrated, I am sad for all these people who are trusting in these fools in Congress who keep telling them that they are here to help them. And I am sad for an even bigger fool who is only a puppet, and will run our nation even further into the ground with idiotic plans to shut down the country over a virus that is no more of a threat than the flu. Yes, it is real, and yes, it takes the life out of you for a while, but it is not what all the fools professing themselves wise are telling you. We are definitely in perilous times, which means we who are saved need to step up and be the leaders Christ needs us to be to lead as many to Him as we can before the door is shut.

[2 Timothy 4:1-8 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.]

[But watch thou in all things,] I do not know why, but I have read these verses for years and for the first time I actually saddened by it. It grieves me to see all these things unfolding before my very eyes. Something else comes to mind as I read this, since there are so many “versions” of the Bible coming out, replacing what is actually the truth, it is really going to be hard for people to know the truth. In fact, I foresee, and this is happening in other countries right now, the burning of God’s Word, replacing it with these garbage translations that have nothing to do with redemption, and even encourage sin. Hold on to your King James Bible, if you do not have one, get one, and keep it close, for it is your only hope to know the truth. Keep in mind that they can attempt to get rid of God’s Word all they want, it is settled in heaven, it is infallible, and everything in it has and will come to pass as it is written, [Revelation 22:18-20 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.]

Today’s Prayer: God, We do not have to be a Christian to know that we are in perilous times. Not only are we subject to the constant immorality and false religion, we are being forced to forsake You or face the consequences. I for one, am tired of people telling me not to talk about You or to bow down to their god, I want to be free to worship You, and live the way You want me to live. I know I am going to face persecution for committing to You, but I rather be hurt living by my faith rather than face judgment by You for having never accepted You. I never want be in a position where I have to compromise my faith, or go against my morals, so, please God, put Your hedge of protection around me, and give me Your power and strength to be the soldier You need me to be. Let me not live in fear, but boldly declare Your Son at all times, and speak up whenever You tell me to. I ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.
