Message: The Trump of God

Hello My Friend,

I realize that the past week it seems that every message has to do with the devil and his attacks, but for some reason this is something that God wants me to keep talking about. I think it has to do with the way things are going, and yes, every generation says that the sign of the times are here, but we really are seeing so many things that line up to that, I even heard a guy on the radio say that wondering what that even meant. You see, the world knows that something is off, we are literally seeing evil like we have never seen before in all of history. Yes, there was massacres, the holocaust and other tragic events that took so many lives, but what is going on today is pure evil, and God wants everyone to know that they need Jesus before people start getting raptured out of here. God has every saved, born again Christian here for a reason and that is to lead as many to Christ as we can before the devil really takes over the earth, especially when this one world religion starts forming. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” – I Thessalonians 4:16-18.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” You know, there are a lot of things that I want to accomplish before I leave the earth, get married, have a rewarding career that I enjoy and not have to live paycheck to paycheck, live in a house that I will stay in until Jesus is done preparing my place and brings me home. As I get older and still wait for these things I come to realize how precious life is and God’s will be done. He has us where He needs us, and to know what I have awaiting me, not having to see or deal with anymore evil is truly comforting. The life we live is not really ours, it is God’s and He will do with us what He wishes to accomplish what He needs for us first. Yes, we can make goals and reach for them, but we are here to do the LORD’s work, and that work is to bring as many as we can to Christ before that trumpet sounds. As Jesus came into Capernaum a Roman Captain of the guards came up to Him, seeking healing for one of his soldiers.

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” – Matthew 8:5-13.

That many shall come from the east and west,” Marvel, A wonder; that which gets the attention and causes a person to stand, gaze or pause. Jesus just stood there surrounded by Jews, and a Roman soldier had more faith in Him than they did. Jesus, has great power in Him, and he can do great things in our lives, but unless we come to Him with our faith He can do nothing. If all we do is get saved and nothing more His light will go out and we will feel as though He is not even with us. Remember though, the power is still in the light, but we must wind it up to see it, Jesus is still in us, we just need to have more faith in Him. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” – James 1:5-7.

We have a choice, do what we need to do by faith and let God handle the rest of it or do everything on our own and dig ourselves into a hole that we cannot get out of. We have to accept that whether we allow Christ to be LORD of our lives or not that we are still going to suffer from time to time. Christ suffered as well, no one suffered more than He did, but He got through it and lived to tell about it. If we allow Christ to live in and through us He will give us the strength to endure the affliction, then we also will live to tell about them as our faith increases by our works. You see, all affliction that is not self inflicted comes from the devil, and while the devil does think he is God, even he is under authority of God. When God tells him tells him to back off he must obey. As Jesus was sailing by boat to Gergesenes he was confronted by two men possessed by evil spirits.

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters. And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils. And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.” – Matthew 8:28-34.

art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” You see, the devil knows his time on earth and in the whole universe is limited, he thinks he knows the time and season when Jesus will return and cast him first into prison and then into the lake of fire for eternity, but he does not, and he will use any means necessary to try and prolong it. Let me tell you, no one knows the hour when Jesus will return, as soon as He gets the order from the Father to move out then that is when it will begin. “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” – Revelation 20:7-10.

As Jesus began to preach multitudes followed Him wherever He went, and while many did not believe, quite a few did. Four men had so much faith in Jesus to heal their paralyzed friend that they climbed up on top of a roof and lowered him down a pulley to reach Him. “And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” – Mark 2:1-5.

When Jesus saw their faith,True faith shall be accepted and approved by Jesus Christ. Sin is the cause of all our pains and sicknesses. The only way to be healed of it is to take away the cause. Christ proves that His power alone forgives sin, by showing His power to cure the man sick of the palsy. Jesus curing diseases was a figure of his pardoning us of sin, sin is the disease of the soul, it is what sends us to hell, when we have faith in Christ, so much that we believe He is enough, we are pardoned, healed of our sin sick disease. More than just being freed from being cast into hell we enjoy an everlasting relationship with Christ, one that will save us from much more than hell, but give us a new life. We are going to face affliction in the world that gets eviler by the day, but we can endure and will through Christ as we wait His return, and we will have the victory. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” – I Corinthians 15:51-52,58.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” – Mark 2:17.

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, I know that You reward those who not only receive You as their Saviour, but make Your LORD of their lives. As I walk the earth by faith, I know I will face affliction and may not even get some of the things I want before You bring me home. You have gone before me and cleared the way so that I might follow in Your footsteps and do what it is that You call me to do. I am comforted in knowing that I do not walk alone, but walk hand in hand with You as my Guide. May I endure and see all my affliction with the full assurance that my work is not in vain. In Your name Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
