Message: Reason Comes Through God’s Word

Hello My Friend,

If there is one thing I have learned over the past few years is that people have lost the ability to reason. And this is why half of our country is divided, it really is not divided that much, it is just that, while most want things to change, they are either uneducated to know what to do, or never take the initiative to make it change themselves. We cannot just watch our nations be destroyed under the hands of a few progressive socialists who want to take away every bit of reasoning we have left in this country. And let me tell you, we, as Christians have to stop fighting, unite as one, and teach them what reason is from the Word of God. And perhaps we need to get in the Word of God ourselves, and learn what reason is before we try to teach it to the world. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” – Hebrews 5:12-14.

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers,Christians need to not only be teaching the world what God says is good and evil, but by living as it teaches. How are we going to educate the world on Christ when the majority of us need to be taught about Him first. So, what is reason? Reason is the power of the mind to discern truth from lies, fact from fiction, and good from evil. We cannot learn these things on our own, we need to be taught them, and the only book that teaches us what reasoning truly is is the Bible. And this is why God has not told Jesus to return yet, there are still many people willing to be taught. Remember, every nation will be judged, and while God names some specifically, all of the past and present judgments are a warning that judgment is coming to all if they do not repent. As we continue learning through Isaiah, of the judgments pronounced on Israel and surrounding nations, He has something to say to all people of the world.

All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye. For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches. They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.” – Isaiah 18:3-6.

and take away and cut down the branches.Jesus can return at any time, and God is asking all of us to come to Him. People are the branches, Jesus is the vine, all who abide in the vine will be a part of God’s kingdom, they will be safe, and fruitful as long as they are faithful to Him, but if they are not, they will be cut off from the vine. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” – John 15:1-2,5-6.

and my Father is the husbandman.” The husbandman is the one who oversees the vineyard or crop, once we receive Christ as our Saviour, God oversees our reasoning, He will grow us, teach us, nourish us, purge us, and prune us through His Word. And without Christ we really can do nothing, we certainly cannot learn how to reason with the world, who wants nothing to do with Christ. We will all stand before Him, regardless of what nation we come from. Now, God foretells the fate of Egypt, He actually tells them of the judgment they will face, and strangely enough how they too will come to know, accept, and receive the Saviour.

In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction. In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it. And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.” – Isaiah 19:18-22.

and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.Jesus did not come here just to save the Jews, the Arabic’s, the Italians, the Chinese, or any other nationality, He came here to save all who come to Him. Jesus Christ is the Saviour, the Great One, and the only one who can heal the oppressed soul. Amen! I imagine the reason so many Jews reject Jesus it that it has to do with their lack of reasoning, after all, they did cry crucify Him when Pilate was trying to get them to pardon Him only to get word three days later that He arose from the dead. Through Isaiah, God tells of the day Jesus will reign, and warns Israel that while He has always protected them, He will no more because of their rejecting His King.

And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons. In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.” – Isaiah 22:21-25.

And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place;” This is an illustration of the strength of Christ, He is the mighty hand of God, the one who sits at the right hand of God on His throne, and yet He is God Himself. Amen! When we receive Him as our Saviour, He clothes us with His blood, and fastens us upon His shoulders, never to let us go. He is our Saviour and Redeemer, He is unchangeable, unshakable, and unmovable. Nothing on this earth is certain, but Jesus is, and we are His vessels in a sure place when we accept Him. “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” – Romans 8:8-11.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.” – Isaiah 22:23.

Today’s Prayer: God, Thank You for Your gift of freewill, You allow us to choose what to believe, and I am certainly glad that I chose Your Son. While we can never know the time in which Jesus will return, we can be prepared for that day. Lord, lead us and guide us, give us Your power to witness to those who do not know You and give us the wisdom we need to prepare others for that day. Open the hearts of those who do not know Your Son and help them to see the truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
