Message: Only One Saviour

Hello My Friend,

Jesus ComingThe most amazing thing about the Bible is that it does not matter what time you came from the same message is still taught. The dispensations of time might have differed on how God dealt with His people over redemption, for example the short lived age of the innocence, there was no sin, to the age of conscience, where God first dealt with man who now understood that sin required redemption. Today, we are in the church age dispensation, where we are under the age of grace, we no longer need constant redemption as Jesus gave us permanent redemption on the cross. Jew or Gentile, no matter what age we are in, we are all under the same message, we need a Saviour, and the LORD is the only one who can save us.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;  In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.” – II Samuel 22:3-7.

Something happens the second a person receives the Lord, Jesus Christ as their Saviour, a new life begins. Now, if you ever wondered why life never seems to change, or gets worse for some after they are saved, it may be because they never allowed Jesus to become Lord of their lives, not just their Saviour. Jesus saves us from more than just hell, first, we are promised eternal life, that means when our flesh dies (unless we are raptured before then), we get to live with Jesus in heaven to await the day He returns and then we get a new glorified body. This is not something God just came up with after the age of grace, His people have always known that, through an amazing vision, God shows Ezekiel what will happen when all the dead in Christ shall resurrect and receive new bodies.

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.” – Ezekiel 37:11-14.

and cause you to come up out of your graves,” What an amazing sight that will be! The second we receive the Lord, Jesus Christ as our Saviour, God breathes His Spirit into us. And there will come a day, when all the graves will open, and every person will stand before Jesus, those who are saved will be resurrected first to get their new, unbroken, sin free, pain free, glorified, immortal body. Praise God!

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” – I Corinthians 15:52-54

Another thing that Jesus saves us from (if we make Him Lord) is the sinful life we were living, it may take some time, but He literally transforms us into someone new by helping us remove the sin itself along with the guilt and shame of the past. Now, that God revealed that He would resurrect Israel and make it one nation, ruled under one King, He reveals another promise, He never leaves nor forsakes His people. They may fall and suffer in their sins, but He will gather all His people (Jew and Gentile), clean them up, and bring them home to Israel.

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.” – Ezekiel 37:21-23.

wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them:” People underestimate God, they really let their pride keep them from coming to Him when they mess up. The majority of the time, when people get away from God and caught up in a mess, they fear going back to Him because they do not want to be chastised. Guess what? You already have been chastised. God loves you and all He wants if for you to admit You messed up. If Jesus can save you from your hell, He certainly can save you from the hell you are in for not making Him Lord of your life.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” – I John 2:1,2.

Just like I said earlier, the same message we are taught today is the same message given to them before Christ came. Gog and Magog, these two places are only mentioned in God’s Word twice, and if you are a regular reader you would know they have something to do with the return of Christ and Armageddon, the war that would be the end of this world. Through Ezekiel, God foretells of Gog, who knew of the warnings, but were not prepared for the battle that would literally bring hell on earth.

Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.” – Ezekiel 38:2-4,16.

that the heathen may know me,” When Christ returns He is not going to be the meek and mild man that we know, He is coming with a vengeance and all will know He is the powerful and Almighty God. Many see a reference to the northern European powers headed by Russia in the last days to wage a great war. Mesheck (Moscow) and Tubal (Zobolsk) is thought to be clearly identified where the future battle of Armageddon will take place. We do not know when Christ will return, but we can be prepared, and it would be wise that His people be ready for that day. We are to live in a way that glorifies God and brings others to His Son before that day comes. Through Ezekiel, God foretells when all will know who Christ is.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.” – Ezekiel 39:25-29.

Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God,” This is the time when all the Jews themselves will finally recognize Christ as their King too. Christ had one purpose by coming to earth the first time, and that was to put an end to the death and hell curse that was placed upon all mankind. When He died a sinless death on the cross, He died for all mankind, past, present, and future, the curse would be removed for anyone who believes in and accepts Him. There will come a time when every knee will bow and every tongue will acknowledge Christ as LORD, sadly, many will realize it when it is too late.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” – John 5:28,29.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.” – Ezekiel 37:24. God sent Jesus through David’s seed therefore, He will be King and Shepherd to all who receive Him.

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, Thank You for taking my place on the cross, and for giving us victory over death when You resurrected three days later. It is because of Your resurrection that we have hope of our own resurrection, when our bodies will be clothed in immortality.  We will no longer be acquainted with sickness, sorrow, pain, or sin, the temptation to sin will not even exist in our future life and neither will our adversary, the devil. What anticipation this builds when we see You face to face in our glorified, immortal bodies. Keep us faithful and looking unto You until the day You return. In Your name, Jesus, Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
