Message: It Is NO Mystery
Hello My Friend,
The Gospel, to the one who knows Christ as their Saviour and is faithful to Him, it is an amazing thing, we know the Gospel as the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. To the world and those who do not personally know Him as their Saviour, the Gospel is just a mystery. The Gospel declares that Christ has once and for all closed the gap between God and man, it declares that even death cannot separate that soul from their God. Those who believe in the Gospel receive more than permanent redemption and atonement of their sin through Christ, they receive immortality, everlasting life. “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” – I Corinthians 15:50-53.
“that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;” The kingdom of God itself is not a physical place, it is a spiritual place (John 3:1-15), a body of souls awaiting the day that Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom. The day will come when the bodies of believers in heaven will resurrect and those still on earth will receive this incredible gift. While all this takes place, Jesus will take His throne as KING, there will be a new temple built, and interestingly, the offering of animal sacrifices will be restored. Jesus, who is also the price, will go into the temple every Sabbath day.
“Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened. And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening. Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the new moons. And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the LORD in the sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.” – Ezekiel 46:1-4.
“shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.” This is to be done each Sabbath day. It is no mystery. The number seven represent completeness because God created the earth and everything on it in six days, then rested on the seventh. These seven sacrifices represent the lamb sacrifice of Jesus Christ, by which he has perfected forever them that are sanctified by His blood. And being without spot, we are made complete as the Spirit of God enters our soul. Because their sin is not only forgiven, it is removed also, they are instructed to go forward in the newness of Christ, and never go back the way came in. We too are instructed to do this once we get saved. “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” – Romans 6:4. Amen!
As God continues to give Ezekiel this amazing vision, He tells him of an incredible gift that the prince has for His children. They would be given an inheritance, but it will not be forced upon them, it will be received upon all who wanted to receive it. Once they receive it it was theirs forever. “Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by inheritance. But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them. Moreover the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession. After he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward. Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people.” – Ezekiel 46:16-20.
“but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them.” It is NO mystery, you cannot be a child of God without Jesus Christ. Those who are not of Christ may receive temporary blessing so that they might turn to Him, but they will not last unless they receive Him as their Saviour. The second we receive Christ as our Saviour we are made known the mystery of His will. “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” – Ephesians 1:9-13.
“according to his good pleasure” Jesus did not die in vain, He did not die so that He could receive some great reward, He died because He honestly and truly loves us, and it was of His good pleasure to give us His inheritance for our faith in Him. Now, As Ezekiel stands at the door of the temple something weird begins happen, water comes gushing from underneath the door, the man that had the measuring line began measuring how high it was getting.
“And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.” – Ezekiel 47:3-5,9,12.
“a river that could not be passed over.” For years I have been reading this, and for the first time I grasped what it means, apart from Christ being the fountain of living water. All who come to Christ will be healed, live with Him where they will be forever provided for. The river so high that it could not be passed over represents the multitudes who will receive His inheritance. I do not know how He does it or why He does it like He does, but if you are faithful to Him, you are provided for, it may not be the way we envision, but He always takes care of His people. Now, God directs His focus on the provisions, all the tribes of Jews will receive an inheritance. “Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions. And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance. So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.” – Ezekiel 47:13-14,21-23.
“and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel;” What an amazing illustration of salvation, when we receive the living water (Jesus Christ) He touches us and heals us from our sin sickness. Once we receive Him, He gives us eternal life. Praise God! Another amazing thing is that we will have part of the inheritance that Israel will receive, and be as though we are one of them. All who receive Christ as their Saviour become heirs with Christ and will receive an inheritance in the Kingdom of God. Further account is given of each of the portions of land Israel, not for only the twelve tribes of Israel, including the cities in which God and His ministers will dwell.
“And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures. And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi. And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan. And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun. At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali. It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.” – Ezekiel 48:30-35.
“The LORD is there.” It is NO mystery, everyone who believes in and accepts Christ as their Saviour becomes heirs with Him, above all, we will not only feel His presence, He will be seen, and we will be able to fellowship with Him face to face. “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” – Revelation 21:7-8.
Jesus Christ Magnified: “It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.” – Ezekiel 44:3.
Today’s Prayer: God, It is NO mystery to every believer that Your Son is the only way into Your Kingdom. Help us to remain faithful in planting Your seed of salvation to those who have not yet received Your Son. Whenever we open our mouths, may the words be given to us so that we will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel to those who have not heard. We thank You for those who assist us in our mission, and for those who will join us further along in our journey. We pray for our combined labors that unbelievers will open their hearts to receive the Gospel and the promised inheritance waiting for them as we know we have awaiting us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
God Bless You, I am praying for you,
