Message: Glorify God With One Mind And Mouth

Hello My Friend,

The word nation is defined as a country with its own government, a body of people, civilization, or a society. The second you call on Jesus Christ as your Saviour you become part of a nation, a body of people united by one person, Jesus Christ, in other words you are a part of a Christian Nation. Now, within the nation there are tribes, a group of Christians with common interests. The word tribe is defined as an ethnic group, a family, a group with a common interests. While, we are all Christians by our faith in Jesus Christ, it is important that we remain within our own tribe, in other words, those who are likeminded. “Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.” – Romans 15:5-7.

If there is one thing about God that we can always count on is that He always provides for His children, and if we serve Him, it gets even better than that. The children of Israel were getting ready to cross over the Jordan and into the promised land, God set the boarders of the land and appointed Eleazar the priest and Joshua to be the ones who would divide it up for the tribes or families, each tribe was given an amount of cities according to the number or people in the tribe. Since the Levites had no inheritance, God commanded each tribe to give some of their land for them to dwell in, and right in the midst of the city.

And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them. And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts. And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about. And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.” – Numbers 35:1-5.

and the city shall be in the midst:Did you ever wonder why God has His people right in the midst of this wicked and corrupt world? It is so that the world has access to God every where they turn. Think about it, the world may not know us by name, but they know we are a Christian, and to them we are their direct connection with God. Of course, many will reject us, but there are a few who will come to us, searching for Jesus, plus we are there to search out any who want to be found. “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” – John 17:14-17.

There were approximately forty-eight cities given to the Levites throughout the country(some were less if it was smaller land), six of those give were known as cities of refuge. This is where anyone who had killed someone either by force or accident could hide out without worrying that they would be killed themselves, but God warns them that murder is still cause for death, with one exception, if it were by accident and remained in the city.

But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled; And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood: Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession. So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest. So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.” – Numbers 35:26-34.

Moreover ye shall take no satisfactionWhether we are the one to escape death or the avenger, we are to take no satisfaction in vengeance. God does not enjoy seeing anyone die and end up in hell, but He has rules, a life for a life, when we are the victim we want justice and will go to any lengths to get it. When we are the offender we want pardon, we will go to any lengths to get it. Those who reject Christ had the opportunity to be saved from death and hell, anyone who dies having rejected Him has no one to blame, but themselves because they made their choice. We should never rejoice over those who die and end up in hell nor should we take our salvation for granted and live the way we want because we are saved.

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.” – I John 5:16,17,20,21.

God will give us anything we ask for here on earth, as long as it will not harm us or anyone else, but the key, we must ask Him, yes, He knows what we need, but just like anyone else, He will not give us anything unless we ask for it. After Israel was told where they would be and what was appointed to them, the daughters of Zelophehad remind Moses about an inheritance that was to be given to them, it was confirmed, but one condition had to be made to keep it, they had to either stay unmarried or marry someone within their own tribe.

This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry. So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers. Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.” – Numbers 36:6-9.

only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.” It is very important that we marry someone who is a Christian, and not any Christian, one of like faith. A Baptist and a Catholic are just as unyoked as a Baptist and a Jew are, there are different beliefs among the two and it will cause distress in the marriage, usually the weaker one in the relationship ends up following the stronger one in their religion. Ask anyone who got married to someone of a different faith and they will tell you how difficult it is. However, if this has happened, God will help them see it through as long as one of them are following His correct doctrine. “But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.” – I Corinthians 7:12.15.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.” – Numbers 35:25.

Today’s Prayer: God, I know that everything is in Your timing and in Your will for me, and I also know that You promise if I ask anything believing that I will receive it. Lord, help me endure the waiting, help me to serve You with all my heart, mind, and soul, and to remove any hindrances that may be keeping me from receiving some of the things I am asking You for. Open my eyes, help me to see beyond the surface and envision the amazing life You have for me as my prayers unfold before my very eyes. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
