Message: For It Is The Blood

Hello My Friend,

Blood, it is the life of every living creature, without blood, we die, without the proper blood, we die, without clean blood, we die. The same thing rings true for our soul, we need blood for it to live, not just any blood, we need the blood of Jesus Christ. The second we receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour we get an instant transfusion of His blood upon our soul. Praise God! “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” – John 6:53-54.

Whoso eateth my flesh,” Jesus did not mean that they were to literally eat His flesh or drink His blood, this goes all the way back to the beginning of the Law of Moses when they offered the sacrifice, and then they ate part of the meat, but they were never to eat the blood because it is life. God decided to use the Passover for another day as well, the Day of Atonement. First, Aaron had to make an atonement for himself, and family.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat. And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house. And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself: And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail: And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not: And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.” – Leviticus 16:2,6,11-14.

that he die not:Remember, no one can stand before God defiled with sin and live, they needed the high priest to stand between God and the sinner, but he had to be cleansed before he could stand before God as well. Jesus changed all that, He remained sinless the entire time He was here, He became our high priest, He became our sacrifice, and when He shed His blood up on that cross it sent a sweet savor up to God, the veil was removed, and now we can stand before God sinless. “And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” – Hebrews 9:15.

that by means of death,I do not know why, but new life always begins after death, whether it is a physical death, a new baby is born, or discovering that Jesus died for us, and we are reborn. Jesus even tells us that we have to die so that we can live, and if we want a new life it begins with Christ. A scapegoat is someone used as an escape, it is usually a person who gets the blame for someone else who does not want to get caught. The Day of Atonement, would become a day in which a special offering for the entire congregation would be made after the daily sin, trespass, and peace offerings. Two goats would be used, one a sacrifice, and one a scapegoat.

And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel. And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about. And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel. And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat: And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.” – Leviticus 16:17-22.

And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited:” Today, Jesus is not only the sin offering He is the scapegoat as well, having taken all our sins to the cross with Him. He is our REDEEMER, He is our ATONEMENT, He is our HIGH PRIEST that allows is to be able to stand before God and live. The Day of Atonement, would become an entire day to dedicate to God every year.

And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you: For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD. It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever. And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments: And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation. And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.” – Leviticus 16:29-34.

for all their sins once a year.Jesus died on the cross a sinless death, He took every sin from Adam to the last person to be born on the earth to the cross with Him, He was buried, and three days later He arose, not only breaking the curse of death upon every soul who believes in and receives Him, but removed the enmity. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” – Hebrews 9:24-28.

Nor yet that he should offer himself often,Jesus gave His life, and shed His blood for us, He did away with the need for a yearly sacrifice, but we still need to make an appoint to afflict our souls, and reflect on what He did for us. And this is why we observe Resurrection Day (Easter) every year, but we should not wait a year to get right with God, nor should we ever use our salvation as a means to live in sin, we will be accountable for unrepentant sin. Now, all of the sacrifices offered by Israel or a stranger who chose to dwell among them, was to be presented before the door of the tabernacle, and the flesh was to be returned to the one bringing the offering.

Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying, What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp, And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people: To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD. And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” – Leviticus 17:2-5,10-11.

I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood,” Having poured out the blood improperly and in an unholy place they were considered guilty of murder, not redeemed. Not every form of blood was acceptable, and today, there is only one blood acceptable to God, and that is Jesus Christ’s. No one can get to God without Christ, no amount of sacrifices, good deeds, or praying can save us, we must know Christ personally as our Saviour to be accepted by God, otherwise we will be cut off from among His people. One rule applies to all. And, if you ever wondered why God had so many rules to begin with, just ask Him, He tells Israel as well as anyone else who wanted Him in their lives why they were to follow His law.

After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God. And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.” – Leviticus 18:3-5,21-25.

Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things:” Think about all the rules God has, they all revolve around the ten commandments, treat God with respect, do not lie, cheat, or steal, and do not be so envious of what others have that you do horrible acts to get them. God’s rules are never something that we are incapable of doing, I mean, keep yourself clean so you do not get some disease, do not sacrifice your children, no immorality among family members, people of the same sex, or animals (my goodness people are disgusting), worship and honor only God. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” – I Corinthians 10:13.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” – Leviticus 17:11.

Today’s Prayer: God, thank You for life, and for eternal life through Your Son, His precious blood gave me more than a transfusion to my soul, it gave me new life all together. Thank You so much for Your mercy and Your grace in saving a sinner like me, I know my flesh and I have defiled it more times than I can count, but I am forgiven through my faith in Your Son alone, and all of that forgotten. Thank You for Your indwelling Spirit that replaces my sinful nature with Your Spirit. As I walk in Your ways year after year, I am aware of sins that wreck my relationship with You, help me to understand and remove any sin that may be hindering my walk with You. Lead me and guide me with Your mercies, and grace, teach me, grow me, and put You hedge around me so that I may not even be tempted above what I am able. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
