Message: Divine Intervention

Hello My Friend,

Years ago I had a client that was very attractive, fit, wealthy, and very into me, in fact, we started dating. He was every woman’s fantasy come true, that was until he told me he was getting married, but still wanted to continue a relationship with me. Of course, I ended it, the saddest part for me, was how bad I felt that I was only someone he wanted to have fun with. It was then that I decided I was never going to allow physical attraction to be the core of my relationship, and it was not much longer after that that I found my way back to Jesus, and never looked back. I am telling you this because, integrity is not something that comes natural for us, it takes instruction, self respect, discipline, and divine intervention. And without divine intervention we will never fully comprehend what is right from wrong. “Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.” – Job 31:6.

that God may know mine integrity.” Integrity; The entire, unimpaired state of any thing, particularly of the mind; moral soundness or purity; uncorrupt; uprightness; honesty. Of course, anyone that is brought up in a home where they are taught that it is wrong to lie, cheat, or steal is on the right track of moral soundness, it is divine intervention that brings us to understand beyond what our human understanding comprehends. There is a reason why Jesus says that even thinking about cheating on a spouse is adultery, it alters the state of mind of ones moral soundness. I will be honest and tell you that when this man was pursuing me I was in a relationship myself, and the reason I allowed it was that I found out my fiance had cheated on me. I wanted retaliation, and that altered the state of mind of my moral soundness. And let me tell you, ignorance is not bliss.

Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD. Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand. The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity. Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.” – Proverbs 19:1-3,20-23,27-29.

that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good;Forget the fact that billions of people will die and end up in hell through the ignorance of their religion, do you realize how many people walk around in ignorance to the fact that they are living in sin? Divine intervention is the only way we can know, and understand that without Christ we perish. We all proclaim our own goodness, but that does not mean it lines up with what God sees as good.

Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him. A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes. Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD. Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right. The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy. The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray head. The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.” – Proverbs 20:6-11,27-30.

The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil:Divine intervention is the only way we learn that perhaps the thing we thought was good may not be good for us at all. We are to never rebuke or retaliate against God or anyone else who shows us the errors of our ways. Righteous judgment is the key to true integrity, it takes a few bruises for us to learn that some things are wrong, and we need to walk away from them. “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.” – Hebrews 12:11-13.

but let it rather be healed.” We are not perfect, and we never will be until we get home. We carry around a lot of baggage with us because we are sinners saved by grace, and because we are sinners we can expect chastening from our Father when we do wrong. And yet, He is faithful to heal us from every single wound we receive. A person who walks with integrity is one that fears God, they learn self discipline, self respect, and self control, not because it is required, because they respect and honor God, and know that when they sin it is God they sinned against.

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour. A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way. There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.” – Proverbs 21:1-3,21,29-31.

To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.God does not want to have to chasten His children all the time. While He is very merciful and forgives us every time we come to Him in sincere confession, that does not mean He does not want us to repent of any sin that we keep holding on to. We must understand something, God wants us to be happy, He wants us to find love, to prosper, to break free from the past, we are the ones who hold on to things that God wants us to get rid. We may not have the guy or gal we dreamed of, the job we desire, or the relationship we so desperately want with our loves ones, but we have something, we have our integrity, and that is something no one can take away from us, nor does it ever turn void with God. Who cares what the world thinks, who cares what other people think, just focus on what God thinks, and as long as we do that we will be able to hear God say thing about you that He said about Job. “And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.” – Job 2:3.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.” – Proverbs 20:22.

Today’s Prayer: God, We all have needs and desires, lead us and guide us so that we can obtain them in Your will. Give us patience to wait on Your timing and let us not become slothful in doing what is right. Nothing is impossible with You on our side, give us Your strength and power to remain faithful and not become weary in well doing. Let us not be tempted to seek earthly treasures that are all around us, but seek You, who will give us all we want and more simply by trusting Your timing. Teach us, correct us, guide us to walk a life of integrity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
