Chapters: I Corinthians 15-16
Message: By The Grace Of God I Am

Hello My Friend,

Grace; The unmerited favor of God, To favor, to honor, to supply, to pardon. Grace is an amazing thing, it is more than God granting us salvation simply for trusting in Christ as our Saviour, it is the only thing that gets us through everything, whether it is trials, tribulations, sufferings, or temptations. Grace is the hope that everything we go through will come to pass ans we will see victory through Christ. “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” – I Corinthians 15:19.

we are of all men most miserable.” I love this verse because it reminds me that hope in Christ is the very foundation to life after death, but Christ gives us much more that hope after death when we trust in in everything we do, He gives us hope that we can live the life we are living right now as see something good come out of it. The Gospel, it is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, this is the foundation to life after death. This may seem like something that is repetitively mentioned, but it is something that God wants to ingrain in our heads. Sadly, there are many religions out there that preach a false Gospel, they believe in Jesus and that He died to save them, but do not believe He resurrected. Paul is speaking to the Corinthians about this.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.– I Corinthians 15:1-4,9-10.

But by the grace of God I am what I am:” We are who we are only by the grace of God, all the good we do, all the blessings received, these are all by the grace of God. When we are going through things that is when all sorts of doubts come crashing to our heads, some even doubting their faith. It is actually the Holy Spirit that teaches people of these truths, besides all that, think about this. Why did Jesus die to save souls if there is no soul to save? He suffered pain, humiliation, and death for no reason at all? This is what Paul was trying to explain to these people, he goes into more detail regarding what will happen, at what we know is the rapture.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.– I Corinthians 15:50-58.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; You know what, I will be the first to admit that my mind cannot comprehend the thought of our bodies rising from the dead like some zombie movie when Christ returns, but I do not have to because I have faith, and we will not be dead, we will alive, we are alive in Christ already. What a glorious day it will be when our bodies will awaken (those whom have died in the flesh) from our sleep to receive our glorified bodies, one that will never see pain or death, one that will be immortal and live with Christ in His Kingdom forever. Death is Satan, he is going to be destroyed one day, he along with the antichrist, false prophets, unbelievers, and anyone who has not called on Christ to save them will be cast into the lake of fire. Paul encourages us to keep preaching the true Gospel, and not try to do everything on our own.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity. I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth. I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” – I Corinthians 16:13-18,22-23.

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours:” We need Godly men and women in our lives that can encourage and be there for us when we need them. Anathema; accursed to damnation (hell), Maranatha; our Lord is coming. What Paul is saying is that, Our Lord is coming, and he will judge those who have rejected Him. Christ is the judge of everyone, and anyone who has not accepted Him as their Saviour will be cast into the fire. It is simple to be saved from this, just admit you are a sinner, believe in the Gospel, and confess that you need Him to save you. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” – Romans 10:9,10.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” – I Corinthians 15:22.

Today’s Prayer: God, Everywhere I go I run into people trying to get me to alter my faith, they tempt me, try me, doubt me, but I know the truth. Lord, keep me in Your Word, never let me cease from praying, help me to learn Your truths so I can withstand what is actually Satan’s attempt to keep me from telling Your truth to others. Lead me and guide me, give me Your power, wisdom, mercy, and above all Your grace to get through each day, hopeful, joyful, and standing fast in my faith of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who is my Lord and Saviour and is alive in me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
