Message: Be Diligent

Hello My Friend,

Diligence; Steady application in business of any kind; constant effort to accomplish what is undertaken; exertion of body or mind without unnecessary delay or sloth. There is no greater joy than to see the fruit of our labor, that paycheck you worked so hard for, that degree you studied so hard for, that twenty pounds you works so hard to lose, that lost soul you prayed so hard for. Even a baby that takes their first step finds great joy in what they have worked so hard to accomplish. Diligence is the key to receiving the fruit of our labor, imagine how much more we will receive by being diligent in our walk with Christ. “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:” – Deuteronomy 28:1

that the LORD thy God will set thee on high” There is a reason why in just a few centuries America became such a great and prosperous nation, they were diligent in their quest to become a nation free to worship God His way, and not under the authority of a government controlled religion. Sadly, all their hard work is quickly being destroyed as one state after another puts their hands in a government that threw God out the window. We literally have cities in our states covered in filth, transients, drug addicts, diseased people, all living off the government. I am not making light of anyone’s problems here, but the truth is this society has become lazy. You know, God will help us through anything, but if we are not willing to make an effort to improve ourselves then He will not.

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty. The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.” – Proverbs 10:2-4,15-17.

He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand:” We are much more capable of doing things than we give ourselves credit for. It takes diligence, and a willingness to do things God’s way in order for us to see our full potential. People have become so slothful that they do not value themselves anymore. In fact, they are not even taught the value of hard work, instead, that it does not matter how hard you work you receive the same paycheck as the one who does nothing at all. Those who work hard for their accomplishments are made to feel ashamed of them as to not offend the ones who do nothing at all. Let me tell you, those who do not work, therefore, do not eat, and have no one, but themselves to blame for not having anything. And I am not talking about physical labor here, we are all capable of doing something, even if it is praying for someone.

Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.” – II Thessalonians 3:8-11.

but are busybodies.” And this is exactly why we have so much poverty in our country right now. The majority of people who are taunting free money, free healthcare, free phones, free homes, free food, are the very people who are disorderly, busybodies not working at all. They also are the first to taunt gun control, abortion, and open borders. And just how well is that working as a society? It is time for people to stop being dependent on the government, and start being responsible for themselves. A drug addict will never break that addiction if they are dependent on free drugs. An illegal immigrant will never be free if they are dependent on cities that house. A woman will never understand the value of life if they are dependent on a clinic all too willing to end a life. Somewhere over the years society has lost their morals, there is no such thing as integrity anymore, it is all about feeding the lusts of the flesh as fast as they can, and without having a conscious to convict them of their actions.

The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it. He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.” – Proverbs 11:3,24-31.

but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.” Do you see this? Sure, it is perfectly fine for us to help the poor, but it is not fine for us to help those who do not help themselves. People need responsibility, they need to be held accountable for their actions. And they certainly do not need pats on the back, and rewards for doing nothing at all or even worse, breaking the law. They do not need handouts, what they really need is Jesus. “And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” – Acts 3:5-6.

but such as I have give I thee:” The world thinks they are doing society a favor by giving to those who do not help themselves, but the most valuable thing we can ever give them is the Gospel. It is time for saved, born again Christians to go out into society and preach the Gospel because what they really need to be fed with is Jesus. Jesus is the only one who can show us that the value of the way, the truth, and the life is in the work we do after we are saved. “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit. The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.” – Proverbs 12:10-14,24.

but the slothful shall be under tribute.” Do you see this? This is the goal of this corrupt government, so that all would be under their tribute. And let me tell you, if we left our hands into the care of this corrupt Congress we have now we would all be dead. Does Venezuela, Cuba, and Greece give a clue as to what happens when corrupt government leaders are in control? All of these nations have given the government control of their countries and are now worse than the impoverished, diseased parts of Africa. Get it together people, stop being slothful and depending on the government for help, and start trusting God, and being diligent about taking care of your own welfare. “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” – Hebrews 6:10-12.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.” – Proverbs 10:3.

Today’s Prayer: God, I want to be prosperous in all my labor, whether it is for You or out in the world. Lord, give me Your power, wisdom, and guidance to seek Your righteousness in every step that I take. I know that as long as I do things Your way I will be blessed, and that my labor is not in vain. Keep me in Your Word to learn and understand how to use the knowledge You gave me to not only please You, but bring others to You as well. As I seek Your righteousness I am trusting You and going to work diligently to further the Gospel. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
