Message: And His Name Shall Be Called Wonderful

Hello My Friend,

There are literally thousands of religions and just as many “versions” of the Bible or some other book they call Holy that gives instructions about God and how we are to live with Him. However, there is only one Book that gives the truths about God and that is His Living Word, some version written from another version from another version is not the same. There is only one Bible, it is true, uncorrupt, infallible, and in the flesh of the Lord Jesus Christ. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” – John 1:1,14.

A corrupt version of the Bible is just as dangerous as a corrupt religion because it will send a person straight to hell and there is nothing God can do about it. Why? Freewill. We chose what we believe, and if we are going to believe the false religion or book that is in their own words telling them about God than He cannot stop us. Through Isaiah, God gives ample warning of the day that Jesus will return to judge the earth, and He has something to say to all those who started all these false religions.

For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.” – Isaiah 9:5-7,13-17.

and they that are led of them are destroyed.” What a wonderful day it will be when my Jesus I shall see! The false prophets, preachers and teachers cannot say that because they are those who lead millions of people to follow a path that does not save souls, but destroys them. They have cause the people to err and they will have to face Jesus for that, and He will have no mercy upon them. As God continues, He expresses His anger toward those who led people astray, and the grievous and oppressive rules they placed on them.

Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.” – Isaiah 10:1-4,20-22.

Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners,” There is no freedom in following false religion, nor is there freedom in forsaking God all together. God is all for rules and discipline, but when those rules cause His people to sin that is when judgment will be upon them. God has given the task of Judge to Jesus Christ Himself, the amazing thing is that while Christ is the Son of God, He is also the Son of man, meaning as being conceived of the Holy Spirit, who is God, through the seed of David, who is man. Only those who hear His voice will live when He returns to judge the world. Now, through Isaiah God foretells the coming of the Messiah, this time revealing that He alone who would judge all mankind.

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” – Isaiah 11:1-4,10-12.

and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth,” Both a remnant of Jews and Gentile will flock to Jesus. He will not lift a finger to judge the earth, He will speak, and not just any words, it will be the Word of God. Contrary to what people say about the fallacy of the Bible, it truly is the most powerful book in all the world and in the heavens and hell as well because it is the only written Word of God written by the only living God. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12.

While salvation has never been about works, after all, God knows that we are never without sin, it has been about trusting the LORD. The works that man does for God had never been about keeping our salvation, but everything to do with showing God that we love and are trusting only Him. Not the false prophet, not the false religion, not the false book, but the one and only Son of God, who by the way is our LORD and Saviour. God speaks of the glorious day when all believers will seek Him and be saved.

And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.” – Isaiah 12:1-4.

thine anger is turned away,” What is God’s anger? Sin. Sin has made us enemies with God. Jesus Christ reconciles us with Him, turning that anger away and comforting us with salvation. What an amazing day it is the second we bow our head and receive the Lord, Jesus Christ as our Saviour. We not only are saved from hell, we are reconciled with God, we can face Him and live because He no longer sees our wretched sin filled flesh, He sees His Son. “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” – Romans 3:24-26.

Jesus Christ Magnified: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6.

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, It still amazes me that You went through so much pain to save me by my simple faith and trust in Your finished work. When I think of the years I was caught up in false religion and where I would be if I died before I knew the truth I cringe. Lord, work in the heart of every unsaved soul and help them understand what You did for them and how important it is to know and walk with You. Give me Your power, use me to be a witness to the lost, and help me to be bold enough to keep speaking the truth. In Your name Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,

Christina
